No, not its not. Your inability to foresee how vulnerable this system is to abuse denotes a pretty big lack of critical thinking.
This is an alt character that Blizz randomly chose for me when the new forums rolled out. I played more than enough of BFA to know its a poor product.
That being said, there are instances of this system being abused in this very thread and the abuse of other systems that trigger automated moderation simply by volume of player reports across all of Blizz’s games.
Sorry, again you don’t seem to understand some of the basic principles. You stumble over legal concepts and law enforcement protocols while willfully ignoring the fundamental issues with automated moderation.
My argument was that there are facts that, when stated, would 100% result in a squelch. To demonstrate that fact, I stated a controversial but true statement. If that post hadn’t been reported and removed, then that would have been evidence that my statement was incorrect, and that stating certain facts Wouldn’t 100% result in a squelch, since the forums use a roughly similar system.
Instead, my post was flagged and removed, emphasizing my point.
again blizz has a specific no politics rule, if you are making political jokes… yeah you are gunna get silenced, and again why bring up the 72 hours then, which only happens if you have been found to have been RIGHTFULLY silenced.
and again gm’s are told no politics.
and again yes each gm has differernt bounds, they do not have some chart. so while one gm may silence you over a swear, another may not.
but even without an automated system a gm is still checking, just it takes them LONGER both in how long to silence someone who needs to be, and in getting through reports, meaning that tickets take longer, and support take longer.
so automated or not, a gm checks the reports before filling the final claim.

In the US. Outside the US, you can totally be arrested for jokes, depending on the country. By the way, this isn’t a good thing. There’s a reason why the founding fathers penned the first amendment.
yes? it is their game, and you signed a ToS, they specificly say no politics and i think no religion, or stuff like sexisim or racisim, cause it causes alot of problems and for the last two is obvious why.

Not everyone has the same PG and PC mentality as you. Reporting people for jokes doesn’t seem right even if its against Blizzards policy to keep politics out of the game. If you report someone for jokes, do you call 911 when someone spams general chat?
