If Arms Warrior buff goes live on Tuesday, SL PvP will officially be dead

I agree nerf convoke

Like most classes don’t just use a few buttons over and over anyways.

Paladin’s are trash… cry harder

Because they now have to develop two games within one, and when they don’t, people act like the sky is falling.

Its clear that PVP gets a backseat in all ways to PVE most times, so that tells me that they do not have time to give it the resources it requires.
Thus, likely not worth their investment in the first place.

Well that would be true, if the events didn’t generate so much attention.

Not saying that you’re complaint’s don’t have some merit, but a ret pally complaining about someone else’s spec being OP in PVP is sort of the pot calling the kettle black. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I mean this is because Activision as a company is absolute trash tier when it comes to actually giving what the community wants, and even before Activision merger we had a lot of eSports and tourneys for PvP and even recently the AWC that started years ago is still pulling in more viewers than PvE events.

I’m just saying, I understand how PvP has been treated so far but if they got rid of PvP completely tomorrow then I gurantee this game would be a bigger ghost town than it already is.

They need to respect PvPers, we’re just as valuable as a PvE player.

They have never done this and you know it.

PvP has always, always, always been a side game for Blizzard.

It’s been like this for 16 years.

No one really cares about it being a ghost town though, because the people who you claim would quit are already not bringing any value to the game outside of their content.
That’s the issue.
Its basically a segregated pathway at this point.
Look at BFA, how upset PVPers were they had to even consider PVE to maximize themselves.
That is clearly not what the game was ever supposed to be, and not why rated PVP was added.

All those players could quit today, and the only people who would be sad would be the people who collect the money from them.
Which you claim is “Activision,” the same company that you also claim does not care about making PVP better.

See why I said it must have been the biggest mistake the game has seen?

Maybe for damage rotations but there’s other abilities for cc or other utility. 5 button games are mobile game quality.

That’s why games like League have been some of the biggest in the world for years.

There’s also a reason those games are free. Funny how failed mmos gain more players when they go free as well.

I get your point but at the same time, you’re wrong because PvP is far more important to Activision than ever before.

Rating locked gear is the first time that PvE players who you claim are the majority now have to do PvP content, high rated also in order to earn Mythic iLevel type loot since they nerfed all other PvE sources.

This shows that PvP is just as important to ActiBlizzard as PvE is and it’s not just a

I understand people might have this meme about the PvP community being 2nd hand citizens and all that, but realistically speaking, PvP players are far more valuable to this game compared to PvE players who also bring zero value to the table.

I gotta disagree with the notion that warriors are the strongest melee class, i have 25% vers and i still get melted by paladins and rogues and most other classes even with defensive stance on. The way warriors are designed is that we’re almost unstoppable with a pocket healer and that’s only with a pocket healer and i personally give more credit to the healer than myself or other warrior mains cause without them warriors are fodder. Yea i dont like the way warriors are designed in shadowlands but dont over exaggerate the situation, warriors are a normal class in a world filled with super powered classes such as paladins. You’re complaining about intervene? What about paladins and their merry band of bubbles?

Their LCS games regularly get more views than the Superbowl.

They definitely pull more active players as well.

League and WoW aren’t even on the same level of existence.

The only value Blizzard cares about is money my guy.

Full stop.

Bro just shattering throw?

Also, Warrior is the most played class in Arena, over 50% of the ladder is them so idk how you think you’re not OP lmao, literally EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER MAINS A WARRIOR.

It’s insanely good utility, you just spam intervene like a mongloid while doing massive condemn crits and never peeling off your kill target and on top of all of that you’re getting an even bigger buff too on Tuesday that will most likely make the ladder go from 50% warriors to 80% warriors.

Stop trying to defend your broken class.

Memories? You mean like wod PvP?

lol shattering throw, sure if i do that you’re gonna heal, then heal some more, then guess what melt my sorry behind LOL. Like i said dude, warriors are only incredibly great with a dedicated pocket healer, that’s the only time the class is broken and I honestly give more credit to that said pocket healer for doing 60% of the work lol. I wish that wasn’t the case and i do hope blizz gives warriors a mini rework but that being said a paladin is a broken class by itself, don’t forget you guys got like what 3 bubbles? Ridiculous healing?, a 6 second stun? Range attacks that hit hard?

If you can’t beat them, join them. Roll a Warrior. Nothing gets a class nerfed faster than when that’s the only one everybody plays.

What value does anyone bring to the game aside from the money they pay? Are you trying to tell us that only streamers should count? In that case, the streamer that the OP mentions, the one who is a PvP warrior, should count way more than you.
