At the end of the day, 50-70% of participating players are roughly stuck at ~620 out of 636. I don’t care about how “subjective” of an opinion you have, that is simply bad for business. DF was in a good sweet spot for most players. Blizzard ramped up the difficulty, put all the rewards at higher levels, and now the numbers are showing that impact and it’s not good.
We are all happy that you feel like everyone should just “git gud”, and how you somehow deserve to bathe in your own glory over others, but your comments come off as elitist. You are entitled to your opinion, but progression should be reasonable and not reserved for only the top 20%. Nobody is asking for gear to be handed to them. They just want it to be a tad more accessible.
And we’ve seen nerfs to mythic+ nearly every week and gilded crests were already made a “tad” more accessible.

I’d be entirely fine with Mythic being it’s own entire tier of loot that had no crossover ilvls with Heroic. I don’t even want the Mythic drops from the vault. I just want to finish the Hero stuff I already have.

Anyone doing and not even timing 8’s has access to this. Gilded crests come from 8’s that = myth level gear.

EU at 37.1%, Korea at 38% and TW at 42.9%. How and where in the world did you pull 20% from?

Hero track gear starts dropping from M+ at 7s, and gilded from 8s.
If your argument is “I have hero track items therefor I should get gilded crests” then gilded crests would have to drop from +3s since that’s when the vault starts giving hero track.
Stop seeing tracks / items as “Heroic” or “Mythic”. The only thing that matters is the crest band.

Putting gilded at 8 and addressing the outlier dungeons (NW and SV) were all they needed to do to smooth this season out and yet everyone is still complaining and wanting more nerfs…I do not get it. Like if the people who kept hating on this system in the forums all week just made a group together they’d have 2500 by now.
We do not need another handout season like DFS3…
The affixes aren’t hard. The only challenge comes from the dungeon mechanics.
I don’t think you understand. I do heroic raids this season, I am getting heroic track items from the heroic raids. I can not get my raiders to do mythic, and I don’t have a single dungeon higher than +5. Hell every attempt at Stonevault I do pug above +2 has ended with tanks megapulling, healers leaving, trash annihilating the squad, etc.
I like heroic raids. I don’t like dungeons where the trash mobs require as much awareness as the bosses, so I would not even bother with M+ if it didn’t benefit me at all.
My point here is that maybe instead of saying “M+ is broken over and over” the broken part is the part where heroic gear needs gilded crests to reach it’s final upgrade. I’m saying that there shouldn’t be any crossover ilvls, and Mythic 1/? should be higher than Heroic’s maximium ilvl.
If they don’t do that, at least put capped gilded in T11 delves so that I have a reason to do those each week. Currently they have no reward above 8, and so I’m just left with complaining because I don’t like this season of M+.

Just stop. Heroic loot is a fine ceiling. Mythic is meant to be hard and not achievable by everyone. This all sounds like a you problem.
Gear needs gilded crests to go above 619 ilvl. The same as gear needs runed crests to go above 606. Where it came from it makes no difference.
Sosari trolls every M+ thread and can be safely blown off. They don’t have anything good to say. Its all just yapping.
M+ as a method of play and the whole game by extension is due for a good de-sweatifying. The entire game is fried head to toe, from playing our characters to dealing with the game as it is presented. Every class is just stuffed to the brim with mechanics that automatically apply stacking and/or conditional modifiers, crowd control, you name it. I’m not even going to pretend like I touch pvp at all anymore because every class can just stun and displace and fear and root and snare you into a coma and its completely indecipherable to me. I won’t even try.
I think the jump from heroic dungeons to mythic dungeons is way too high with how it is tuned. For the first week or two you have to play so scared because a stray cast going off means you’re half health and you have to just deal with it until your gear curves off some of that heat and you no longer die to air.
But then you’re stuck progressing through M+ which is just complete dog water unless you have a group to play with. That’s one of the biggest disparities right now, because these dungeons are very pug unfriendly. If you have the boys to hop in discord to run keys with, you’re probably having a grand old time. If you don’t and you’re just fishing in group finder and dice rolling these runs, you’re probably downright miserable right now. The only way I’m reliably getting anything completed, much less timed, is when I’ve been with friends. Otherwise every key is either a +2 or a +9 with very little in between. I’m hopping into these pugs just to fill vault when the boys aren’t on and watching these poor people bomb 3’s and 4’s dude. Its absolutely wild to watch.
Blizzard is so worried, so anxious, so absolutely -terrified- of the game not being hard or complex or punishing enough and I think they’ve got their heads up their butts. That’s a silly priority to have in my opinion.
Dragonflight had a terrible first season, but they got the balance right in the subsequent seasons. It just feels like the same thing again here with.
A few things make it worse. The change to stops and interrupts. The extra penalty for death. The new loot system, including the new lvls of vault reward. I’ve never walked out of this many keys before.
Maybe it’ll get nerfed, I don’t know. It’s definately not fun right now.
Did we play a different game or something? Best balanced season we’d ever had followed by 3 in a row of Godcomp.
Maybe we did. It had one of the worse seasonal affixes ever developed (perhaps deliberately so that they would never have to do them again) and a dungeon pool that included Shadowmoon Burial Grounds that was so much easier than anything else that you ran it repeatedly to lift your key. Other dungeons had terrible overlaps (last boss in Nokhud Offensive, for example). As for the class balance, it was okay, but not great. Though granted, it was much, much worse than when Aug was put into the game and became mandatory for high keys (and when classes got redesigned and became godmode until they were nerfed).
show me once anywhere where i said i need easy loot lmao. that is just your obsession with loot showing. i dont care about loot im already fairly geared out. there will always be some improvements to be had but im doing just fine.
