I wish Titan Residuum was farmable outside of M+

Due to nobody replying to my older thread, thus preventing bumping the thread back to the top, I had to make a new one.

If I have to resort to DE’ing underperforming 405’s, something is wrong.

I shouldn’t have to think this at all. But here I am, thinking about it.

If TR was farmable in more fashions than it currently stands, maybe I’d keep the 405 and see if it sims better for ST or AOE.

TR isn’t meant to be a primary source of azerite gear.

Its bad luck protection for getting azerite gear you don’t need.

There isn’t one as it stands now, that’s the problem.

Sources for upgrades are so few and far between for Azerite at 385+.

Fine.

Heroics and WQ’s should give tiny amounts of TR relative to the cost of a 385 piece.

I miss tier sets. It was a simple and effective solution to the problem Blizzard created with the complicated and clunky azerite system.

Azerite gear is just a “build your own tier set” that you can also get top quality pieces from m+.

Tier sets you couldn’t. Some tier sets were so bad you didn’t even want them.

I agree that there should be other sources of TR if you don’t feel like running Mythic Plus for some reason. The Mission table, WQ’s and Raid drops come to mind.

Technically TR is available from raids and WQs by scrapping the azerite pieces you get from either content.

Titan Residuum isn’t meant to be easily farmable if I’m remembering correctly. Do more content if you want more chances at residuum. Of if you don’t want to, well then, that’s on you.

Technically is stretching things since that’s complete RNG. My main was incredibly unlucky this Tier and didn’t get a complete set of Azerite from the Raid until a couple of weeks ago.

TR for each Boss kill would be nice.

What content? The point of the thread is outside of the Mythic Plus weekly chest there’s very little ways to get Residium that isn’t just a trickle.

I know what tier sets are, and I still prefer them over what we have now. I enjoyed them.

Things about tier sets that improved the game:

Simplicity
Exclusive to raid
No AP requirements
Each spec had an identity

Also, pretty much every tier set improved the class. Everyone wanted them. Not everyone was happy with the balance of them.

To add on to your point, basically Scrapping/DE’ing Emisarries at 385 or Raid Items.
