I agree. Get Kevin Feige and Dave Filoni at the head of Starwars.
Feige is amazing as organizing large cinematic projects, and Dave Filoni is not just a writer he’s a fan of Starwars. Both of them together could save that franchise.

Disney buys, opens, and closes game studios almost as often as they release billion dollar movies. None of their studios or games have been next generation or AAA quality.
Their biggest selling game was the Disney Infiniti system that required you to buy overpriced action figures to unlock characters in the game. Even though it was highly successful, they cancelled it in the middle of its run. And they liquidated the developing company.

At the time it was made, the content was considered “tame” by the standards of that era. We’ve only made it “not PC” because taken by itself, it looks pretty bad.
However, if you look at the source material for the movie, it’s not actually as bad as people make it out to be.
Problem is, people don’t both to look at the source, only the end result.
I’ve never seen the movie. I am familiar with the Uncle Remus stories on which they are based, because it was one of the books my grandmother read to me as a child.
What I remember about those books was that the characters championed by Uncle Remus were presented as being smarter and craftier than the villains, and won the day based on those factors rather than sheer braun. The “moral” to the story, therefore, was not to think of certain people as stupid or beneath you just because they were poor or a convenient target of bullies.
Whether that was the intent of the author, I don’t know. That’s how my 4-year-old self took it, though, maybe because Grandma read it that way. I still have those books somewhere, so maybe I need to re-read them to make sure my recollection is correct. I used to think the “problem” with the content (and thus the movie) was that it was written in dialect, but it must be deeper than that. Or if that’s the problem, WoW is already on shaky ground because it does the same thing when you deal with trolls or dwarves (i.e., the words appearing in the chat window that spell out what the voice actors are saying, including misspellings for dialect effect).
At this point EA would be the better option

No. Disney absolutely SUCKS when it comes to the video game industry. They have tried multiple times to get their foot in the door only to drop everything they have done with zero warning. You don’t want Disney anywhere near video games.

Mass effect andromeda craps on any of the Star Wars games this decade. BioWare has plenty of respectable titles like dragon age origins.
