Report me? You would need to submit evidence you know screenshots? Something you do not have I think your missing the point
This is straight-up harassment on a player in-game via the use of Discord. I’m looking at the app right now, and apparantly you click on a Discord link in order to file or appeal a decision made about or against you in order not to be blacklisted. I have a dog with idiopathic epilepsy. If my dog starts having a seizure in the middle of a boss fight, you better believe I’m going to stop what I’m doing to go and see to her, and quite possibly take her to the vet ER near me if it lasts over 4min. She’s on phenobarbitol to help control them, but it doesn’t stop or prevent them. Is this grounds for me being blacklisted, harassed and/or hated on because I caused a wipe, or couldn’t complete the raid? Sometimes Real Life happens during a raid you cannot foresee, it happens to everyone, and this harassment addon only makes the toxic playerbase even more so.
Sadly, I honestly don’t know what they can do to stop this. I’ve joined gold-carries for AotC runs for achievs and mounts, only to find out Discord is required, and then I find out they also accept cash via Paypal. I know there’s no proof of my claims, but it’s still happening so I’ve given up, and now this. They keep it in Discord which isn’t Blizzard, so I don’t know what, if anything, Blizzard can do. I just hope they can do something about this.

That’s not how it works. I just report your name in discord and say you ruined my key run. They aren’t asking for screenshots.

I agree 100% that can happen…but even today if 4 people vote you out of a LFG run, you have no recourse…reporting them to Blizzard won’t get them actioned even if the kick wasn’t fair and/or they did it purely to screw you over.
So then it’s like raider io people chose what to do with the info provided. Seems like your worried because you do questionable stuff that might get you reported

If it is untrustworthy then people won’t use it.
You don’t like the fact someone has better gear than you? Report them. Did someone roll higher than you? Report them. Did they get a mount you’ve farmed forever to get and they won’t give it to you? Report them. Reported player will get harassed and blacklisted by the community, and unless they have this addon, they won’t know or understand what’s up, and when they do, they’ll have to go to the Discord link in order to appeal whatever it was they supposedly did.

there’s a huge, huge, huge difference between objective data and subjective information.
“Warrior Joe has completed 5 dungeons at 10-14 level” objective.
“Warrior Joe is a stupidhead jerk who hurt my feeling in a run. he’s a toxic elitist!” subjective.

If they have it posted to discord you can report it after joining that discord with screenshots. You can also submit it with the character names to clue them in that its happening since it’s generally more obvious when its a gold carry with no gold exchange.
Nobody would do this unless you did something to them first your working on a what if scenario.
Raider IO is measured by completed runs. The information can be verified. I’m surprised that you’re having so much trouble with this lol.

One report from a salty person isn’t going to make a problem but just like Io if you see multiple reports you can see a problem
Yeah but if I get kicked out of an LFG run I just look for another group. As long as people use this addon what gets sent there exists.
Now you’re getting it. Me and 10 of my friends report you for no reason.

I, as the key holder, have every right to report that you bricked my key just as you have every right to abandon a group to handle a RL event…you don’t get to be free of consequences just because the reason is justifiable. You still cost other people who (assuming a pug), have no way themselves to verify your story or even care.
I have internet issues…if I end up DCing 2-3 times on a night I planned to run some dungeons, I just don’t do the dungeons. Even if it my key, I don’t feel it is right to risk it and 4 others people’s time when I can be reasonably assured my internet won’t cause undue issues.

I’m actually sad that some people aren’t getting why this whole thing is a terrible idea. So much want to control the actions of others without realizing you too will be controlled.

can you imagine? people couldn’t even handle the mass downvotes hiding posts on GD, how are they going to react when they can’t get groups because trolls are working together to blacklist them with these addons?

How is that any different than a brigade of karens enlisting all her karen friends to bash a restaurant on yelp?
I personally think there are way more bad/toxic players that’ll have trails of negative comments than otherwise good people falsely targeted.

What’s wild is how they think people will be altruistic with it. In what warped reality? Rarely do people, especially in this game, act with good intent. People are bitter, spiteful, and out to get people who they think has wronged them. Even when that ‘wrong’ was something simple like an emergency that caused them to have to bail on a key in a video game.
