I Was Wrong

It’s a start to something. These addons do more for personal responsibility than Blizzard has done, Blizzard has removed nearly all personal responsibility from the game. We’re free to do what we want with no worries.

you created an addon that tracks people first and foremost, then you justify the purpose with “defense”

you are malicious

that’s period, no justification or debate, opinions, anything

Yet you are arguing that there would be real repercussions are you not. I mean from what I gather that is the biggest complaint here is the fear that they will be removed from being able to socialize.

It would follow the same pattern as yelp just in smaller numbers. one group would review bomb and people familiar who think its unfair would counter it. If that person doesn’t then perhaps there is some merit to the reviews.

The only case I can think of were this would not happen is when the person being review bombed is a solo player who doesn’t socialize. In that case I’m not sure why they would care about the consequences.

You are clearly just afraid of being held accountable for being toxic.

held accountable by the likes of someone who pays an equal sub? scrap the addon, m8.

you’re above nobody, and you have the same potential to become whoever you hate at any time with such third party powers given directly to you. it’s malicious.

Your making me laugh with how ridiculous you’re being. I know myself that I have good system here, and the people who are downloading that are placing their trust in that. If you don’t like that, that’s your problem LOL

despite your condescension you seem to have forgotten your argument. In this case “your” would be the person trying to review bomb. Which is of course what the discussion was all about.

What your now switching your argument to is not review bombing but rather a ddos attack. Thats an entirely different subject.

Clearly your skills with computer is limited to double clicking icons on the desktop and playing wow.

You created an addon that tracks people, first and foremost. Whatever comes after, does not matter. It’s malicious, needs to go, and it will go. Nothing you say will ever prevent it from being trashed.

WoW has already shown that they don’t care about this by not only keeping the API that allowed for IO up but by then implementing it into the core game.

Right, but here is the thing, YOU dont get to determine what is toxic, nor does the community, blizzard gets to say what is and is not. You and no one else has authority to rate people on if they are toxic or not.

this is your justification? anyway, enjoy the limited ride

Obvious troll is obvious. The addon isn’t going anywhere as long as there are toxic people such as yourself.

such addons have been broken before and it will again, my posts only serve as a warning to call it quits earlier before you dig yourself deep into a pit of total community scorn.

Fools.

What ride? I don’t use the addon myself. I’m just countering idiotic arguments and peoples double standards.

ironically, i’ve never once in my life heard an intelligent individual say ‘idiotic’, just something i’ve noticed.

Its a regional linguistic variation. Along with hold yer wheesht and others.

if that’s true, it can be forgiven, but it seems reduntant because whatever one describes as ‘idiotic’ is something one clearly already has a problem with

In this case its used as an adjective to describe how bad an argument is. I would use other words but unfortunately they are not allowed on these forums.

In hindsight it was posted due to irritation however and considering your latest responses I withdraw it.

You didn’t play back in the day when server communities were a thing and players would literally be blacklisted from guilds or groups that were worth anything if you think this is something new.

i welcome irritation no problem, but yeah you’re right about the environment of the forums being quite strict, so i understand the hesitation
