I disagree since if people can queue for one or the other no matter what faction they are balance is FORCED b/c even if 1 faction is seen as being stronger it shifts players forcing more to shift to the other.
Some people think everything is toxic. That’s why this thing is stupid. You can be reported for any reason at all. I could report you right now.

Well I’m talking about real banns in game not a group of people using a addon to target you for what they think is bad behavior.
you understand that even for this addon to target someone MANY people have to have a issue with that one person right?
its basically a history background on how that person treats others.
Well… yeah. That’s how the faction imbalance happened in the first place. Horse was seen as stronger. But the same thing happened in WoD, where the big PvPers were swapping to Alliance for human racial abilities.
It just shows, right there, that Blizzard has a track record of not being able to balance things, regardless of which faction is currently on top of the charts.
This is an unusually salty and negative attitude to have towards other players who chose to play a different faction than you did. If a good chunk of Alliance players have that sort of attitude towards other players then it’s honestly no wonder more and more players are leaving the blue faction.

Then we are having parallel arguments. Either way there’s a reason why Blizzard doesnt ban for “Toxic” behavior. It’s too subjective. When people get banned it is for objective reasons that are well defined like racism.
My problem is giving regular players the power to pass judgment based on “evidence” and no defined actions. The only ones who should have that power is Blizzard.
I think you are confused or arguing something else.
The concern (which is largely justified) is that people can just use these new addons to report someone despite there being no way to verify or otherwise prove or disprove the entire encounter. Like you could literally go to this discord and make comments on how I am the worst tank you ever met and I somehow IRL killed your puppy.
There is literally no way to define something like “acceptable behavior” for something like a pug. You absolutely can set rules that break TOS but breaking TOS is not the same as violating the “rules” of a pug.
For example, I can’t just openly swear and threaten you…that would get me banned real fast. There is no rule though that says I have to be an awesome tank and tank the dungeon or raid exactly like you think it should be. There is also no “rule” that says I have to stay if I, for whatever reason, don’t want to be in your group anymore.

Yes and you can ago ahead! but unless many other people are reporting me for that same reason it wont do anything.
thats my point. its not a 1v1 its a person not just being called toxic by another but many reports and callouts over time.
and the truth is if MANY people think something about someone over time in different places for the same reasons they’re way more then likely to be what others are accusing them of.
I think it bothers people b/c so many people use video games to blow off steam they wouldn’t if the person they’re talking to was in front of them.

What is “many” people. Easy enough to get alts, friends, or an entire guild to report someone. Your argument that it takes multiple reports doesn’t make it any better. It is still easily abused.

Okay why would people put that much effort into lying? why would many many people lie about the same things to the point people start avoiding you?
And people have no issue judging others already with raider,io so i’m confused on why this is different.

Since this thread has started, 4 people have left negative reviews for Galabris. I doubt he’s run any keys during this discussion. This thing just won’t work. Before the day is over, you’ll probably accumulate a few.
