I want to be invisible to the guy harassing me - This is NOT a pvp issue

I still say make a post in the customer support section. It is you r best option to get actual answers to your problems. Unless the goal here is just to get some moral support from the community.

Just did that now, thanks for the reminder.

I hear what you are saying OP and I don’t doubt it. Didn’t mean to give the impression I did not find you credible.

I hope Blizzard will take action. But just a bit of friendly advise - don’t take his bait. Don’t take him off ignore even to defend yourself. It would be horrible if one moment to respond even if not directly to him rendered your petitions moot.

Good luck and hang in there. I hope the process can move more quickly.

Is it even possible to create a support ticket to creating a new Bnet tag, name change, import toons from another tag, etc?

What if he’s shadowing you via that guild and/or other members? I honestly don’t know what to do unless you could save all the logs and prove the constant hostility.

To be honest I’d find it less scary if he just went around throwing random death threats. What you described is straight up terrifying regardless of how harmless each individual message looks.

Lol, I wasn’t saying it matters, I was saying I was curious.

Hopefully they help you quickly. Keep on them, maybe post on the Customer Support forum too. Good luck!

Do people actually respond to him a lot? I would imagine that after some time people would realize that that guy is crazy and put him on ignore.

Yes I read that.
OP isn’t required to satisfy yours or anyone else’s curiosity.
It doesn’t matter which is why I stated that.
You even made a ninja edit to include that nonsense about DFT.
Go watch some reality TV if you think that your curiosity needs to be indulged.

Damn straight! My MiL is 61 and smoking hot lol, can only hope the wife will be as hot at that age, but she looks more like her aunts from her dads side, still good looking just not as hot

Back on topic, @OP maybe try tweeting blizzard or one of the higher up dudes and ask if they condone harassment of players? See if that gets them moving on helping you out?

It doesn’t “need” to be indulged. I wanted to know, as long as knowing wouldn’t inconvenience anybody. I am not demanding to know, I was just curious.

Drop the hostility at once. I did nothing to deserve it other than being sincere regarding my curiosity.

And OP didn’t seem bothered by the question, she even answered me.

The more I read this thread the more it sounds like a troll

It’s funny who many male players are like “I can’t believe this, it sounds like a troll!” and so many female players are like “I have had this exact thing happen to me”

In other news, the customer service forum is full of some pretty gross victim blaming ATM.

No one has been hostile to you.
This is not about you though.
It is about the OP and what they are going through. Try to be more respectful of their feelings and not press them to discuss is what I am saying to you. It sounds upsetting and stress-inducing. I saw they did give an idea of what is happening. That they were not feeling pressured to do that due to another’s “curiosity” is my concern.

sorry that you can’t camp him. put him on ignore and move on, it’s a video game. Constant harassment and stalking of your real person can and should be reported to police. Again. whatever pride you feel hes attacking, you can physically ignore him.

And people are not inclined to believe baseless accusations on the internet, as in whatever this guy is saying will be brushed off by the community

For people who never had this kind of thing happen to them it does sound unbelievable.

Anyway, here’s the problem: it seems to me that the majority of this thread believes you and agrees that what is happening is 100% harassment, which, as I said previously, is very much against the TOS. Despite that, we’re impotent to do anything except speculate on why Blizzard hasn’t done anything about it, and I don’t see how this speculation helps anyone. As bad as it is to say this, you’re at the mercy of the gaming company that makes the product that person is using to “stalk” you. They won’t create a resource that makes you invisible to him, the only thing you can hope for is a ban or a mute.

IDK, maybe if you do Blizzard’s job for them (collecting logs and messages and contacting customer service with the evidence at hand) they will do something about it.

facepalm It seems like even Blues don’t understand their own system. Ignore only stops him from whispering me directly, he’s still free to trash talk me in public. Yet they keep telling me to put him on… ignore.

Both of these things can be true.

Go to heartseeker and seek out a paladin named oldgreyballs. His whole guild would have your back and mass report that loser to oblivion.

Or: make some friends on your server and start a report campaign on this guy to get him suspended. More reports = action.

Nor should it.

You only have control over yourself, not another, and that is purposefully good.
