That’s not true. The original character remains on the native realm in the case where a transfer did not occur. Consequentialism tends to narrow perspective. I would advise ditching it.
Bump. RIP Mutanus.
The forums suggested that if we went Mutanus we’d be at the unofficial rp-pvp server, instead we ended up on a dead wasteland horde side. I have been looking for a group for sunken temple so I can get the mana spring trinket for my class quest for over a week and found nothing. If I can’t transfer, I’m not going to be able to play SoM.
if the prospect of abandoning a level 50ish character and rerolling is so abhorrent to you, then SoM was never gonna be your game.
My guild has been running ST every single day for like two weeks. I’ve personally, as someone that came to Mutanus with no relationships and no guild, never needed more than half an hour to get a full group together for any content I was looking to do, including elite quests. I play a rogue. When does it start being a you problem?
My main is obviously 60.
Because you are transferring gold and resources from a realm where they are cheap to a realm where they are expensive.
This floods the market with below price goods ruining the price, farmed a heap of thorium to make a profit when the sales are going good? Welp bam someone just transferred with triple your thorium stocks that they got at half the price even you did, nice attempt at making money in game, you just got outbid with real life money.
So no, the result is not exactly the same.
Don’t allow transfers and ruin the server because you and your friend made bad choices.
Blizzard made the mistake of not capping servers hold them accountable not your servermates.
Have you been to any of these servers where you think things are cheaper? because the opposite is generally true. Things are FAR less abudant so they are far more expensive. The more people a server has the cheaper things are, not the other way around. nice try though.
Is the data on ironforgepro pretty reliable?

These numbers are quite sad but I don’t think they are accurate.
There’s gotta be someone playing on the server.
No that’s incorrect, things are always cheaper on lower population realms.
On my server for horde vs alliance for example. Most of us horde sell stuff through discord to alliance players, as they are more populous they have more gold and are willing to spend it.
This is just fundamentally how economies work.
I don’t care that my server is ‘dead’ I’m enjoying the game lmao.
The idea that it’s okay to ruin the game because I’m having fun is a tad hilarious.
Yes blizzard will more than likely ruin the game because people are willing to fork out money to blizzard for any fix to their problems regardless of the fact that buying transfers just makes blizzard less likely to fix the game completing the cycle. As customers willing to fund blizzards ineptitude we are to blame. Hence me here calling our people for their unintelligent takes.
Worse comes to worse ill just go back to ascension wow full time.
The numbers are from people logging raid kills etc. So dead realms look crazy dead.
Blizzard should invest in megaservers technology. Period.

You’re current method of validating server transfers is based on false information. If you can’t validate transfers you should change your mind not ignore the facts.
Fact’s don’t care about your feelings, stop letting your emotions control you.
This made my day.
i would agree with you, but then we would just both be wrong.
first post attempt ignore please
