I *used* to be a good M+ player

Hit 615/616, beat all +7’s. Joined a +8, got my party murdered.

Hit 620, tried again. Successful but the struggle is way too real. Heals left and right. Cooldowns managed perfectly. Interrupts cycled as necessary. Still barely timed with a 1-chest.

Last season I was 8/8 Champion, 4/5 Hero on a Holy Paladin and it was no where near as hard as this. I don’t care that it’s hard. I care that I’m wasting more time on ilvl alone. KSH isn’t worth the time or misery.

I had fun with DF’s M+ but haven’t touched TWW’s because I brought a puppy home a week after release.

From the sound of it, I’m not missing out.

I’ve had no issues. Sounds like you’re getting bad groups. Healer’s unfortunately can’t carry a bad group this season. You need DPS that have their kick keybound, and have a dispel talented. You’ll also need a tank who’s not braindead and knows that you can basically pull 1 pack at a time and still 2-chest a 10.

You’re welcome to add me on btag and I’ll tank some for you

This is the worst M+ season I can remember, and I’ve done M+ since it was introduced in Legion.

Dang, worse than SL even?

Well, that’s a solid cure for any lingering FOMO I had.

Been having a blast with my pup and the occasional Delve instead.

Yeah :frowning: I rerolled mains permanently from prevoker to rogue because healing is abysmal. I was 3k io in s3 Dragonflight (although that being said, s3 was a bit easier). But this expac I didn’t even bother trying for KSH because the 7-9 pugs are brutal.
Blizzard said (once again) they’d fix the mad aoe dmg that was present in Dragonflight, but it literally doesn’t seem to be any better. It feels worse.

Same boat, i either got too old to compete and/or the game has evolved past my sweat level. I downloaded my first addons in 20 years because tracking all the different abilities that can one shot you was overwhelming.

You can end the thread here.

I have been having this issue, the past month or so, and it is no good. :frowning: Like, I’ve been playing my class for so long, how is it that I can’t seem to heal folks well, anymore? I mean, it feels totally frantic, trying to heal in game, at the moment. There’s usually no where to stand on the floor w/all the aoe’s happening. I manage to move, but gosh it isn’t fun anymore.

I hate thinking healing in wow isn’t fun anymore!! I’ve been healin on an H Pal since BC! I loved healing in BFA and SL, especially SL - I was taking my Pal and my Drood through LFG/LFR a lot.

I did make a character in Cata Classic and it’s been fun being an effective healer, again. When our spells worked better.

It’s a shame. However, yes - I totally get what you’re talking about. I wish it wasn’t like this.

There’s no way you actually believe this right

There is no way that I actually believe that a fated season is easier than a S1 season?

That’s not at all what I quoted but I should’ve checked to see the hidden profile first and realized you were just a troll

So we agree that S4 was much easier but you just have an itch to scratch?

Blizzard turned up outgoing damage profiles. There’s more onus on the group to make sure kicks and stop are being made.

One of the most brutal pulls this season for pugs is that first CoT pull with the 3 casters. You usually see the first 2 or 3 web bolts get kicked but then web bolts 4, 5 and 6 go out and people just start falling over if they can’t hurry up and kill a caster.

Outgoing damage becomes very punishing at 8+ if any form of misplay happens. Because the damage is so punishing for misplay and will chunk for 60-80% HP, the regular rot damage combined with it will usually just result in players falling over dead…because of misplay.

Rdruid has the least access to quick, touch-up healing. The best way for you to improve right now is probably making sure you have 90% uptime on partywide rejuvs and making a more active effort at hitting interrupts.

No, they really aren’t.

Players who are used to “topping off health bars on demand” are having a rough time with the adjustments to health pools and healing output introduced with this season.

Healers who “DPS to heal” aren’t struggling as much because they’re used to “always doing something” to heal up their allies.

Don’t see what this has to do with it.

Things change.

I used to be a raider, ahead of the curve back in like Cata lol.

Kinda just stopped, lost interest, and now I do other things instead.

+8s are also where chaining your pulls together to the best of your abilities starts mattering.

Ive noticed a lot of people will swap to the new mobs with their full HP for the zugzug and allow another 2-3 casts to go off that otherwise wouldnt have if they had focused on that execute stage with the prior pack

When youve exhausted your interrupts, those extra casts can cause quite some damage if they go back to back to the same target

R Druid should always be casting something. We need to layer on the hots for our mastery to work.
