It’s the law. Activision-Blizzard would cease to exist if they lied on their report, not only from the federal government, but they would be lying to their stockholders and investors.
It has literally nothing to do with ‘shady business’. They are required by law to do this and it has to be accurate.
No, they’re really not. You do realize that Activision-Blizzard publishes quarterly reports, correct?
Like, it’s kind of ridiculous you think that Activision-Blizzard has some shady conspiracy going on when they’re literally required by law to do this and be accurate about it.
Unless you work for them and are high up in the company I don’t think you can really claim with 100% certainty what they do or don’t do. Just saying. I don’t even need to equip my tin foil hat to say that much.
More money, makes the economy cheaper for people that are broke.
go into your talents and click the warmode button to off
what?
All they can do is mass farm herbs/ores and world and bg pvp, who cares about that if you just turn off warmode. As far as the rest the only thing they can do other than gank people is maybe farm raids for legacy outdated mounts and mog.
Literally yes I, you, and everyone else can. You can’t just make up whatever you want on a report that goes out to your stockholders and the public at large.
Virtually every large company does this. They’re audited all the time.
How is it different from a player bringing mythic raid gear into pvp, or spending 18 hours a day grinding out gear? Any of those similarly disadvantage casual players, and none of those are going away.
Multiboxers aren’t likely to go anywhere, blizzard has never once cared about them.
ActiBlizz is protected under the patriot act to make the BNet launcher one of the most widely distributed NSA backdoors in the country. The data it gathers goes directly to General Nakasone’s desk. Don’t tell anyone I told you.
I don’t doubt it. So long as premade groups are a thing, though, preventing multiboxing is pretty futile (technically) and hard to justify. Having a group of friends that use voice comms is an advantage, too.
