I did some pretty stacking while I watched my servers economy at the start, then I moved into bigger and bigger flips and was sniping for at most 4 hours a week which accumulated to around 20% of my income but definitely was the most enjoyable part.
Mostly mog/flips and such, oh and was making 500k every time the weekly warfront turn in was up, before they made it a daily anyway.
Absolutely. Except most people who play MMORPG’s would rather have options… having one singular way to make gold is nice… but that doesnt make it ok for multi-boxers to ruin the rest of the economy.
As i said, strangling the material market is bad news for the average consumer and would encourage more people to gather, not less as the value spikes upwards. The only winners in such a scenario are people like me buying up the limited quantities to sell back to you (raw or shuffled into a product) at a mark up.
Yup, I didn’t do the garrison because I hate leveling, I just spend gold on boosts when ever I need. But I made around 5-6 mill in wod the last 3-4 weeks just selling heroic archimonde aotc for the fugly moose mount, we were selling the kill every few minutes for 50-100k a pop. Can’t believe anyone would pay that but they did lol, easiest carry of my life.
You realize that most of the multiboxing people aren’t the few teams farming Zin’anthid and that any person who really wants a long boi can hop in the wowecon discord and learn things, right?
Herbs and ores have never really been a great way to get income, let the rest of the players do that for you, snipe their mats then make 10x more for a little more effort than they know how to do.
I know how to make gold… I have about 6 mil on all my characters. I don’t really put effort into making gold though as it has no value anymore with everything being depreciated into nothing. You have taken this conversation so far off course. This is not a thread about “how to make gold in WoW” it is about how multi-boxers depreciate an economy. Which they do. The original post says
And this pretty much sums up the issue. If anything you have supported the OP by saying you have so much gold without even trying. There is no value to items and no value to gold because of how readily available everything is. Partly due to multi-boxers.
Making gold and multiboxers are related lol, that’s the only reason to multibox. We diverted a small amount saying you can make more gold with less effort although multiboxers account for a very small % of the player base and don’t affect the servers as much as people think they do.
Herbs/ores and boe mounts, that’s it. Making 20-30k an hour farming or selling consumables is such an inefficient way to make gold is all we said unless you multbox. It is however one of the more reliable ways to make gold since consumables are mostly what’s moving right now although a very small portion of gain you acquire from it.
Again you are missing the point… No one is complaining about multi-boxers making gold… People are complaining that the value of their effort is being reduced by multi-boxers. Which is 100% true. Sure you can still make money by buying and selling. And certain various obscure ways from past expansions… And WQ’s… and much more. But that’s not what we are talking about here.
Second of all, she was referring back to the poster who insulted me a while back, asking them to re-evaluate their position. It’s this dumb meme that the kids say these days (And I’m only 25. I can’t believe I’m already using “these darn kids!” reactions.)
This is also my point who would spend hours farming on one toon to make 20k in the process from herbs, those that don’t know any better is all I’m saying, the market will be the same no matter if there’s multiboxers on your realm, this late into an expansion the market is flooded with mats.
I would really love to prove it to you but I doubt blizz cares to show us the listings of all the multiboxers out there which I’m sure are very few since people seem to think it’s difficult to do and a big investment which I’m sure most are.
