I think I see the problem. Even worse, I predicted it

Don’t you love it when people arguing with you on the internet go out of their way to prove you right about them?

The problem with casual trying to be special thru ilvl is that its impossible, everything that you have will be available to 100% of WOW player.

If they gave everyone 400, you’ll ask for 415, if they give everyone 415, you’ll ask for 420.

Just follow what a wise LFR hero always said, you dont do content for gear, thats playing the game wrong.

You keep saying Premade. Do you mean you want Mythic Raids and M+ 10 and above to be able to be queued for? Are you insane? You think some people are toxic now, you just wait for what it will be like if you get your wish. The servers will literally explode from the rage. And yes, I do mean literally. There are people who just should not be able to queue for certain content, either because they are just bad or because they would find it delicious to troll everyone.

Guys this person wants 415 for doing heroic dungeons. Not worth arguing with that level of dumb. Hopefully he will find another game to fail at and everyone will be happy.

Just so you know, I made a Community/Discord.

The community can be found here, and within, the Discord:

The Community is named “Let us kill Elitism together!” and the Discord is named Anti-Elitism.

So people who express the view “Do harder content for better gear” with toxicity aren’t welcome. We kill them with kindness.

You do know by the end of this xpac they probably be handing out welfare gear that will be 500 ilvl with little or no effort required to get it.

The game has to have its difficult content and also its greater reward within that content. It has always been that way from day one.

I think I can boil it down to this: OP wants to progress his character’s gear for the sake of progressing gear. He doesn’t need it for any of the content he does, he just wants a higher item level. He does all menial content (How is he neck 44 with 3 385 azerite pieces still). Every single piece of his gear is from a low effort source.

He doesn’t care about the game as a whole or how any of the systems interact. He doesn’t care that the game is an MMORPG with its basis in social interactions. He just wants his item level, and he would destroy the core of the game to get it.

Its like walking into a bowling alley and complaining there aren’t enough arcade games, and then going around saying people are elitist because they want to bowl in the bowling alley while never actually bowling himself…

The core of the game was already destroyed by Elitism.

Then again, why bother.

Not a LACK of non-raid content, but people are quitting because of badly designed non-raid content. This dev team is AWFUL at understanding what non-raiders think is fun.

No, it was destroyed by players that run suboptimal talents, who then underperform in groups, then get kicked out of group content and then proceed to whine on forums that players are elitist.

Like I said, PEBKAC.

Surprisingly enough, wasn’t kicked. I just choose not to do that content.

Right now I play casually.

#1- I don’t believe you
#2 You choose not to play that content, therefore you have no right to complain about being “forced”.
#3 You can casually do every aspect of this game save for +18s and top 100 clears. So that’s not even an excuse.

I… don’t get it. If you want to do top end raiding content, join a raiding guild or do what we’ve always done. I’m casual too, especially now, and don’t want to gut the fun out of mythic raiders. It has no effect on me. o.o

Due to the hype of Borderlands 3, I have been on a huge BL 1/2/TPS run. I have scaled back my WoW play a bit for now.

I am playing about 7 hours a week. Does that get to be counted as casual?

I get mythic raiding and a m+ in the 10-15 range done.

OP wants top end rewards, from solo/trivial/content you can queue from and pretty much not fail.

Anyone that connects difficulty to the equation is an elitist.

At least mowing down thousands of weak mobs in a farm is fun.

I’d rather make gold.

And that is true. Difficulty should be for sport, not for reward.

Oh, well that’s pretty nonsense. I wanted this elite PvP gear and busted my butt for it. Yes, people will say “HaH ThAtS EaSy CoNtEnT” but I put in the effort. Same with Mage Tower. I’d never sit here and demand things to be easy. What’s the point, then?

There’s plenty of content for casuals and plenty for hardcore. In fact, without a challenge mode thing, there’s less for “hardcore” right now, so… :woman_shrugging:

…If there’s no reward for hard content. Or if the rewards are easy to get… everyone has them. There’s no point in trying at all.

I’m sorry… I’m as casual as they come so let me ask this: What the hell is mandatory? I do what I want and I have had access to just about every aspect of the game I wanted through casual solo play.

I may not like that parts of the story force me into LFR or to queue for instances but that slight inconvenience is hardly worth complaining about. Higher ilvl gear? Why do I care, I’m happy middling around 370-390 on all my alts. I have absolutely no use for anything above 400. So again, what content exists that we are being forced into harder difficulties to gain access to?

I actually did kill Xylem.

He was more fun than anything in BFA.

Raiding always required premade groups since the beginning of this game. Before e-sports existed. Bad meme is bad and nonsensical.

This isn’t a single player game and no one is shoving anyone anywhere. You can progress your character outside of raids and M+ up to a certain extent. If you only plan on doing solo content, you have beyond the gear you need for it.

Someone knows nothing of why Wildstar died and is now making stuff up because they’re bitter they can’t get Mythic raid gear for doing nothing.

I killed him quite a few times over, him and the tank guy. Was rough but worth it for sure. Most worth is the rogue ghostblades though, they look awesome. Oh, and affliction scythe.
