I was 5 days /played when I got flying from scratch. Take a day away for lvling from 98-110 and also doing my DH class mount so maybe 4 days /played. Total of 96ish hours played.

I’m sure you didn’t play for 96 hours straight though. You’re limited by the hard time gate on rep and if you don’t log in for say 2 days you CANNOT make up for the rep you lost in those 2 days.
like so many others have said by the time you unlock flight you’ve already made it obsolete since the entire game has been explored and conquered just to get the ability to fly around
There are call to arms quests for other zones too. That gets people out and about.
I’m aware of CtA…I just don’t see much fighting in Naz or Mec since the patch. You know, because everyone is in Vale/Uldum.
Anyway…I’d rather flying didn’t exist at all. But it has never inconvenienced me not having it during any of the expansions.
There are enough people to fight. If there was literally no one in BfA zones he wouldn’t need me to be an awesome dragon.

No it isnt. I stopped playing mid legion and I started playing again right after the first of the year and the only reason i do not have PF yet is because i hate mechagnomes.
I am as a casual as you can get since i am working 6/10’s and am pretty tired at the end of the day I also have really bad hotel wifi which makes group content all but impossible to play

I don’t have flying either. It’s just so boring grinind rep for it, especially as obnoxious as Nazjar is. On top of everything else we have to grind for, it’s just too much for me to want to bother with flying. If the WQs gave more rep maybe, but 75 for most of them and to hit revereved, just have no desire.

I do not have flying - the 8.2 zones are absolutely slog-worthy. I have all my rep up to then and I’m honestly close to having it but I just Do Not Care anymore. This expack has been the most disappointing for me. I had more fun in WoD and WoD was a notorious miss.
Since we are getting a level squish I’m never going to do BfA zones again and simply don’t need the flying there anymore.

nope, came back to the game less than a month ago after being “mostly” gone since cata, already got flying. once i’d quested through all the zones it didn’t take all that long to hit revered with most of the factions, all I did was hit up the emissary quests every 3 days. and do the najatar and mechagon dailies. naj was probably the most annoying to get done without flying, but mech wasn’t “that” bad. (although it was the last one I got)
in total i’d say 2 1/2 - 3 weeks with the first half of that mostly being lvling and questing if you are dedicated to it.
That being said, yeah I found it rather frustrating at times, especially when I was only working on 1 or 2 reps left. but compared to legion flying which i’m working on getting right now, its a hell of a lot better. seriously blizz, now that its not current content anymore, buff the rep rewards for legion. or at least increase the drop rate for the rep items.
Seems Ion doesn’t have Flying, seems like… 
I am not though, I just played from the get go, and grinded out part 2 in like a few weeks never to see Mechagon and Naz ever again lol
no BfA pathfinder here either. No desire to finish it.
I look at it this way, I don’t really like BfA all that much. Why do I need to fly there?

Pick whatever you’ve got with the best rep balance. make it your pathfinder mule. I did mine with a human hunter, used him to unlock pathfinder when I came back for the 15th anniversary thing as well as farm up the rep to unlock mechagnomes. In the meantime I had one of my horde guys parked in Voldun to do the vulpera unlock. Took a lil while, but I just chewed out a bit a day.
One bonus is, if you’re an alt-o-holic like me, the rep grinding in Naz will get you a buncha pearls you can use to send welfare gear to your alts 
I have flying because I forced myself - but I know EXACTLY what you mean regarding getting bored of classes. I have nearly everything at 120 due to this.
It’s a perfect storm at the moment, because classes have lost so much flavor and uniqueness with all the prunes, and yet it’s painful to reroll due to essences, and now cloaks.
But we all end up doing it anyway because something fresh, even with a painful grind is better than boredom I suppose. But, boy, what a mess when those are the two options!

no idea, I had pathfinder before 8.3 and I’ve been doing the 8.3 stuff on the same hunter and sending that 410 stuff to my alts. I literally didn’t go back into Naz after I got pathfinder. The Ankoan annoy me.
I cant even go to megachon to get the flying quests. I just gave up trying.
