I still don't have BFA flying

There’s a lot of reasons for this. For one, I keep unsubbing for extended periods of time. Secondly, I can’t seem to stick with a main so I have partial rep on numerous characters because I get bored so fast of each class I play. I’ve never had this problem in any other expansion, I’ve always been the person that plays ONE class and is dedicated, but what I used to love about my favorite classes are gone. So where does that put me now?

It’s really a drag and killing my motivation. Just wanted to vent I guess. Anyone else in the same boat? :coffee:

PF is very punishing to returning or new players.

Just know that flying will change your life. I do a lot more than I used to out in the world. I’m actually farming achievements now.

PF is a poorly designed system.

I came back after a break. I want to finish pathfinder, but there is so much other stuff I need to do first to catch up.

This seems to be your biggest problem.

It takes about a month of dailies, if that. Not having at this point, unless you just reached 120 recently, is pretty much a player-problem, not a game-problem.

You don’t have to actively play your character that has the most rep. Just log in, do the dailies in the zones, log out. Rinse, repeat. You’ll have it in no time at all.

Flying opens up game options which makes all of WoW’s outdoor content more accessible. That is the truth.

Weird flex.

First of all and the obvious answer is to focus on one character. Second of all get that thought out of your head that you need to keep up with the Joneses. So what if you aren’t running edge of the game content. You will arrive in due time.

Before you know it you will have unlocked flying.

I know someone who has been playing actively all of BFA and still doesn’t have it. I love teasing him over it because not only has he been playing BFA for over a year (doing mythic+ and raiding) but he is a human and has a reputation gain advantage baked in. But a lack of flight hasn’t stop him one bit.

How is that even possible? It’s practically handed to you at this point.

I know, this is 100% my biggest issue. I’ve rerolled like 8 times in BFA, no joke. The current class design seems like its just not engaging enough for me to really stick with one atm. It’s frustrating.

He lacks the reputation from the 8.2 update. He never really enjoy the two zones and just blow them off.

9000 more rep from rustbolt is all thats holding me back from bfa flight… not having a jetpack is soooo unfun

If you look at it from a “game time” perspective, it doesn’t take much at all. The time it takes to do the emissary when it’s up, WQs and table missions, is not long at all (one hour max?). These collectively provide massive chunks of the rep bar. Then you’re free to do whatever else in the game, or log off. Our increasingly impatient society gets irked that they can’t simply pay or grind it out. I look at it as collective game time needed. In the end, it’s not very much

Yea it’s a grind for sure

BFA class design is fisher price so we understand.

Don’t feel bad. Once you actually get flying, everything you’ve done to get flying would’ve been 10x better to do WITH flying. So now you have flying with no real need to use it. I mean yeah you can keep doing WQs, but why? lol.

Shareholders first m’dear!

FWIW: I was part of the “I’ll never get flying” crowd. Check my post history lmao. One day, I sat down and I did Pathfinder. Not only did I do PF for BfA, I did PF for Legion AND WoD.

My conclusion? Pathfinder sucks, it removes the need for flying once you actually get flying because you have nothing else to do. It’s purpose is to increase time played metrics.
