I still don't have BFA flying

More likely the latter, as the former has about 300 other threads.

I just can’t get that last bit of rep from that stupid dry sea-bed zone. I hate it so much.

OK, they already said SL will have PF.

The start of the expansion is the most fun… everyone is on the basically the same footing; the game feels revitalized, it feels like the wild, wild west. In addition, historically, The bulk of the gold I make the whole expansion is made in the first patch - I would not miss this for anything.

If you want to skip it just because you cannot fly that is up to you but it feels more fair because no one can fly. I would hate to come back when flying is released (9.2 or 9.1), I would be way behind most people rep-wise. Soon people would be flying and I would not be able to - that would be terrible; but it would be my own fault. For me it is better just to play the game, it seems that I get flying just by playing the game. But hey, do what you want, make a statement.

so what if we all got flying. blizz has effectively made flying almost meaningless in the new zones with debuffs that force us to run on the ground…

Are you tailgating the worms or something? I havent had any issues with them and i actively engage in wpvp. L2 fly.

Sorry what game are you playing? I fly all the time in the new zones, the worm slows me occasionally but it’s easy enough to avoid the big worm in the sky.

I will give you an award though for the most exaggerate comment I’ve read today though. Bravo!

So you want to be privileged. We spent a month to get it and you want to have it tomorrow? Are you special?

It’s accessible on ground. You are just lazy.

Its only annoying for playing alts, most of my time online is spent in visions where you cant fly or in nzoth invasion areas which are in zones you can fly with out any of the pathfinding crap. So iv not bothered lol, im not going to go slog through mechano and natzijatar over and over and over till I get enough rep with them to fly in zones I never visit except on alts - rarely.

No U are lazy.

I’m pretty much the opposite as the OP this expansion: Got flying right away because the terrain is beyond terrible to navigate on the ground. Nazjatar in particular was downright terrible. I also used to be a major altoholic, but in BfA, I’ve only casually play one character.

BfA is hostile toward alts and hostile toward being stuck on the ground. So glad I skipped the first half of this dumpster fire expansion.

That is true.

Imagine having alts you want to level but have to wait for the time gate of PF to be able to fly on main and alts just so you can level the alts.

Man. How did I level up in a few days on my main without flying.

You can do it like I do. Level up a main to max when the expansion starts by doing all the quests. Get bored, unsub until flying is released. Resub, and then do map quest dailies for a single rep each day on that toon and then play your other alts. (Your reps should all be at revered at that point anyways, except for new factions) You get flying after a couple of weeks of that, then you just do whatever you want.

I didn’t want to, but that’s what I did. I slept through the first half of the expansion, then came back when flying and 120 hairlooms were available. This is what playing wow has been reduced to for me.

It is. But blizz did try to kill flying outright instead. Players hung them in response. So to save their wallets blizzard did pathfinder and timegates.

Once thr timegates are down. The reps take at worst a month of grinding.

A gold sink would be br better sure. But blizz already said they would keep doing pathfinder.

I came back from classic to get the BEE mount and found it would benefit my progress to get the BFA flying, so I went and achieved the flying and completed the Bee mount rep…………now I daily fly and farm honey, ore and treasure chest. Definitely a good gold score, but as for BFA that is it and done in 1 1/2 hour with my morning coffee!

I don’t have flying either. Really want a Mechagnome but grinding out the Rustbolt Resistance is painful. Find myself not wanting to play after a few days of it and immersing in low level alts.

I’d need to farm for flying and only flying for a month

This system is just overly punishing to returning players or new players

It’s fine for the addicts who haven’t unsubbed ever and buy their subs in 6 month lots

vs the rest of us who played since start of BFA and had to wait until PF 2 was released?

At least returning players can focus all their play time on getting PF 1 & 2 done. They don’t have to wait like the rest of us did.

That’s my only gripe about pathfinder, the wait for part 2. If we could fly in those zones then get grounded in the part 2 zones upon release I wouldn’t moan about it at all. This didn’t end the game to me at all.

What does make me laugh is those that quit til pf2 came out without completing the pt 1 reps, who then to use my fave line “cry moar” upon returning. I have a ton of bookmarked threads with people making that threat, like it means anything to Blizzard, I look forward to see if they actually stick to the threat of not subbing til pt 2 comes out next expansion.
