I gave up at having to get all the treasures in Spires of Arak. I wasn’t about to crawl up trees and cross ropes for a fairly quick 10 levels.
I think WoD pathfinder was easier to do because it wasn’t gated by huge quest line like Legion. But I do know some players prefers doing the huge quest line than hunting treasures like WoD required.
wrath on first release at least made up something nicer like oh…cold weather hinders flying.
And this worked. better than what they did after
Our mounts literally forget they can fly on the boat ride to BFA lands. And remember when they portal back. ANd remember to fly in BFA after rep for mechagnomes and naz.
I am not sure why my DH order mount or even me in character cares about what mechagnomes think of us. OMFG…the freak gnomes hate me. I can’t just get the will to fly with a bunch of gnomes with a an odd infatuation with being amputees with diaper fetishes not liking me. I must fix this…
You’ve been playing Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 1 again, haven’t you?
I don’t have it either, took a break from 8.1 until now so trying to work on part 2. I’d really like to play my rogue or other class at this point but I feel forced to keep going on my shaman atm. I really hope someday they’ll stop punishing people with pathfinder and go back to just gold cost, but eh probably not. grinding rep would be more fun IF I could fly
The quote does not imply that one can do a daily multiple times a day. That’s YOUR additional spin on it to deliberately mis-interpret it. It says DAILY gives 900 rep, the “per day” thing might be a clue.
I get it, you feel embarrassed so you’re trying to cover by doubling down. If it helps then by all means keep going but a simple “oh I read that the wrong way” is a quicker and easier exit.
Well, if you don’t have flying it means that you can use your ground mounts and flight paths! Grats! The game cannot cather to YOUR playstyle or other player playstyles…
#BePositive #TwentyTwenty
I don’t either because of taking a break to play classic, which I would still be playing except for the terrible positioning of ally towns/fps and general lack of fps. Seeing horde casually zep or bat in to the place I have spent 10-15 mins trying to get to aggravated me too much. All I need is Mechagon rep. I despise that place. Timeless Isle was pretty at least. This is non-navigable and full of rusty junk.
I assure you that’d have been avoided had you slowed down when you were typing in the first place. Write legible sentences, and nobody misunderstands. Simple.
Sometimes I wonder if Blizzard forgets that they’re running a MMORPG, keyword being RPG. It feels like they prune away more and more of the RPG aspects of the game every day. Hell, they could have just said it’s more treacherous to fly in a jungle like environment (Zuldazar for Horde), so you need to learn how to traverse around these new areas, and bam, they could implement some kind of quest like we had in MoP.
Yeah I’m with on that one I have one main and two alts…but…pathfinder 2 dont need it anymore…since 8.3…so ha!!..
yea i try not to join those groups because usually full. i mean skill wise i can but to me it’s not a huge deal like the only aotc mount i wanted was the legion one and i got it. the only one i regret not getting that i could of was the WoD moose. this one though it’s kinda meh…
i used to collect mounts thats why but im not a hardcore mount collector just something that i picked up when i was bored with the game. only mount that still eludes me that i tried farming a few times was TLPD. i still want invincible as well but haven’t really been trying to farm it as much as i should be.
I formed a plan, I’m going to do Nazjatar rep on my druid and Mechagon on my mage. I haven’t been dedicated doing everything every day… but it’s coming along.
I still hate it.
if you cant stick with a main for a single week, idk what to say to you man. my friend came back to 8.2 having not played since mid 8.1 and was able to get part 2 pathfinder in less then a week.
I’m not expecting you to say anything honestly, my post wasn’t directed at you or anyone else… Just expressing myself in a forum bro.
Warmode on:
Accidental fights (where armor is doing all the attacking and not actual weapons) distract from WQ farming. Intentional fights distract from WQ. Ignored fights distract from WQ (“We need more ally/horde. random group slaughtering us. Join in or you suck at pvp”).
Warmode off:
Human Diplomacy doesn’t work on horde side. Some of us are pro-horde only, some of us are turncoats, some of us are pure alliance but anti-human. Give a bit of diversity. Also a single week is barely enough time to get a Legion reputation to revered. That’s including questing, WQ and Assaults…which aren’t guaranteed for the rep we’re going for at any given time.
Wanna know who else doesn’t have BFA flying? The lead game designer Ion’s character
I like flying to farm and to see the country side.
From WoD forward the land masses just dont seem big enough for flight to be that big an issue…not having it anyway.
And theres nothing in BFA anymore worth farming at this point…so flight is more just something to say you have than anything really needed, I think
PF…working as intended. Pretty soon they’ll be able to remove flight entirely from current content and it wont mean much of anything.
so we’ll be wandering around on an island sized landmass with no deep chasms to fall into, no high out of reach places to explore and the terrain is completely solid enough not to fall through the planet and see the void beneath? I’ll take it. Mechagon would fit this perfectly, if there were no mountains, no lakes, no flight points. If it can take exactly 8 minutes on a 60% mount to get from point A (far west or far north) to point B (far east or far south) and mobs didn’t drag for half of that time, I’d be for it. But in exchange, Kalimdor/EK, Outland (Draenor by extension), Northrend, Pandaria, Broken Isles and BfA 8.0 zones get faster flying speeds. One cannot deny the landmass one must cross to get to a destination.
oh no…all those obstacles will still be there for us to fight for an hour to get around…its just that fighting to get PF will have worn us down so much that we hit ‘screw it’ and just dont care about working for a stupid mode of travel anymore.
PF…working as intended.
