Not that I disagree with you, but for men, between men every interaction has an underlying possibility for violence. This is Warcraft, we’re at war, he’s the king. He should be violent right now.

It just makes a lot of sense. People got mad asking, “why is she a Lothar?”
The Lothar family has been huge in the history of Sotrmwind and the Wrynns. Anduin is named after a Lothar. A Lothar helped his father. A Lothar is now helping him.
It seems like destiny.

Again, don’t read the quest text. You can also skip cinematics. And again, not every character and story has to cater to your personal taste. I like Anduin and I think all things considered the dude hasn’t actually really cried enough.
Like imagine spending that much time with sylvanas and the jailer as your only company. Poor guy.

Look at octavian. Great leader in war but didn’t actually fight any battles himself. A king being a warrior is a mistake.
Alexander the great for instance. Great king, died to a rusty spear in a battle he had no place being on the front lines of.
You can’t skip “Listen to x” nor “follow them” while the dialogue is playing in text boxes above their heads. “Btw, don’t go too far or they stop moving.”
Same thing they used in DF and SL to force you to interact with the story no one wants to be in. But yes, I did skip the cutscenes. Imagine if those were unskippable too.

honestly not really but it probably has something to do with the fact that ptsd rates are probably fairly low in the game design and animation sectors. not saying there arnt people there but for the most part portrayals tend to feel more like how an outsider looking in googled videos of ptsd and said lets run with it.
