if there was a trophy for being the biggest crybaby, it’d go to Anduin. Why is his name even Anduin? Why not name him Cryanduin? I feel like he represents all the paladins of WOW bc a lot of them cry.

it would be alright if he wasnt the king of the alliance. he doesnt have the control over emotions i expect a king to have.
It’s a super fun mirror to society every time someone has a meltdown because a man showed an emotion that wasn’t violent.

I mean, if you just want drool and smashing things, there’s plenty of characters that embody that in the lore.
When your role is a leader, pillar, and symbol of strength for an entire faction… crying and running away whenever things get tough warrants ridicule and hate. He should not be a king, a leader, or even an integral part of the alliance.
Let him live his life as a commoner and let someone more qualified and stable lead the alliance.
Exactly. The role needs to be given to someone else. Anduin just needs a break to actually process what has happened.

Isn’t Turalyon in charge of Stormwind and/or the Alliance right now or whatever? They can’t just elect a new monarch, plus there’s no one next in the line of succession because he hasn’t had babies with Wrathion yet
I’m 45 and I love Anduin. Every time someone says that the main characters in modern wow are “woke” etc. and just women all the time, I laugh inside because this entire expansion is about Anduin, growing up, manhood, and the father-son dynamic.

I think it’s fine. He’s easy to follow since everyone knows who he is and while it’s been a long time in real life, in game he’s still very young and has a long way to go.
