I really really really really really really really HATE Anduin

for me its exactly this. its like watching an actor try to portray ptsd to a child which i understand thats probably exactly what they are going for but for someone like who has delt with ptsd its feels like a pale shadow of what could have been an interesting arc. almos like if the hired zapp branigan to act out ptsd.

Players want lead characters that they can aspire to be more like. Emasculated, emotionally broken simps aren’t it. He’s a whiny soyboy that reflects society’s efforts to emasculate men.

Not saying men can’t be thoughtful and introspective, they absolutely can… But then there is also a reason there is an orc warrior riding a wolf in front of Blizz HQ and not a statue of Anduin caring.

I mean the guy was forced to murder people against his will and he has witnessed it all…

Problem I have with Andy is everyone (in game npcs) treats him like some kind of god. Like he is smarter, wiser and more capable than everyone else.

Still love the Legion intro cutscene. The music, the dialogue, all of it. As a father a son, and someone who loves dramatic war movies, it’s just a super emotional and probably my favorite of all.

Such a based take.

you don’t realize he was written specifically for your benefit lmao

What pisses me off is that it should have been Garrosh on the Horde side leading them. Sylavanas is such an eyesore.

i don’t like how she was used either. people claim it’s a woke thing but really it feels like they just only know how to write women as scornful

Idk anduind like one of the extremely few characters that actually feels real.

If you went through what he did im pretty sure you’d be the same.

What he needs is a hot elf wife, really level him out :stuck_out_tongue:

Anduin and Wrathion need to be a couple

I would’ve prefered to see her leading the scourge lol

Eh, it’s the mainstream take these days. Eventually we will creep back into masculinity being a form of counter-culture should we avoid allowing the Tate bros to have too much influence. Then it will be “super cool to mirror society every time someone has a meltdown because a man chopped wood in a tee shirt /s giggle uWu” and the cycle will roll on.

The “anti-conformists” that are actually consistent conformists are the best types to get a laugh from in the world.

like is said in a post above it honestly just feels shallow like they are treating the subject of ptsd with the subtly of a sledge hammer.

stop reading manga and watching anime lmao.

We saw the stuff she pulled in Wrath and the stuff she constantly do using the stuff we already blamed the Lich King and the other undead for doing. And yet she got away with it. And what’s even more annoying was how Voljin agreed with the “spirits” that Sylvanas should be chosen as the new chief. Then again, why should we trust the word of someone that already deals with the dead anyway through his powers.

i think they’re trying to remedy that with Alleria though. She’s a wife and mom, and while has every reason to be angry and upset, is taking a very normal approach of prioritizing her family in the end. And Turalyon is doing well by supporting his wife by just being there, not having to solve every problem for her.

Yes. Especially since he really didn’t have a great support group to help him. They just let him wander to find himself instead of taking the time to listen and give advice like Faerin.

Heck, they could even tried to get him to talk to Nils Beerot before he went wandering since the last time I checked Nils was still treating those two orcs who had been in Durnholde Keep.

And yes, I do admit that I hated Anduin in MoP for running around when his dad told him to come home. But with how the WoW team have put him through heck and pinning him there, it’s great they’re trying to undo what damage they’ve done.

Hahaha…

Then you also see the growing flames rising about that mirror as society slowly tears itself apart.
