Shadowlands is the expansion that pushed me away and kept me away for the longest out of any wow expansion.

i’m not, everything was bad. Story chopped in pieces, 3 out of 4 zones were absolutely terrible, covenants were bad, leveling experience was bad, especially on alts, dungeons mostly were bad (especially necrolords ones)

It really was. I don’t really follow the main plot anymore though. I haven’t since MoP.
I just kind of take in the world as a whole and each zone. I find the side quests and that dialogue way more interesting then the main plot.

I liked Shadowlands a great deal.

I made a post about how I liked it “a bit better” than DF — not saying I hate DF, not saying SL was my favorite. Literally I like SL “a bit better” than DF.

Not exaggerating, my post has been flagged (and then unflagged) as trolling five times.

That’s where I was at the start of DF, because my computer was 10 years old. I got a new computer (nothing fancy and not a gaming PC like alienware) and I get zero stuttering and 133fps.

Anyway, the only thing I enjoyed about SL was Torghast, and I’ll probably never go back for any of the xmog or mounts that I missed. It’s the expansion that almost got me to quit this game permanently.

I dont understand… why that matters in the slightest. Like someones opinion and the relevance of said opinion doesnt change just cause they post on their classic paladin versus their retail one. It seems to me like peoples thought process (yours soecifically) is “hmmmm i dont like what this guy said sooooo OMG HE PLAYS CLASSIC YOU CANT HAVE AN OPINION REEEEEEEEE”

Troll is synonymous with unpopular opinion on GD. OP definitely has a horrible take but to say they’re trolling is flat out brain dead.

I liked the end of bfa and shadowlands a great deal. I always play more when power acquisition is easy, idk why it has to be a trickle at the start of every early patch (yes I’m aware of the arguments for it)
