Brewa is one of those mythic raiders who would prefer that the only good gear should come from mythic raids.
No, but Apokalypsis is obviously somebody who makes up silly head canon instead of reading what other people actually say.
And will not rest until M+ either takes a month to obtain one decent piece or only drops greens.
Iām being a bit factious here.
Itās so funny to me how people hop on the doom train for each and every expansion. WoW players have the memory of a goldfish.
It is obvious they need more gearing paths in this game.
Dude, you are always posting about how m+ is to good and how raiders dont want to be forced to do it.
Well considering more than one person agreed with your post, I guess I can take your word for it.
All I have to say to that is let people play how they want to play. Thereās more than one way to get high ilvls and it should stay that way.
Think the problem is M+ isnāt fun for the majority of people now. Itās been surviving by being the means to an end for gear and I think theyāre finding out how bad they need to make it for people to stop playing it.
Hereās a post from the start of shadowlands
Thatās a lot of likes for a critical post. You donāt see that anymore which begs the question, where did all those people that agreed with the sentiment go?
Really? I havenāt had the slightest inclination as a raider that we are being āforcedā into doing M+ at all. Not one bit.
I have no idea what heās talking about, both sides have equal opportunity to get the best gear in the game and both are fully capable of reaching the cap. M+ isnāt my thing, mostly I just find dungeons to be more on the casual side and I just donāt find them as stimulating as raids. The timer makes it worse for me.
There might be a few bad apples among the M+ goers when it comes to their attitude on us, thinking that grinding their souls into dust over a video game makes them better somehow, but I donāt find that at all worthy of being gated from equal gear with mythic raiders.
Itās mythic raiders. They want every advantage that they can get going into a mythic raid so are often āforcedā to do m+ to get higher ilvl gear. By forced it more like coerced by their raid team.
These were the same people that were āforcedā to run all modes of content when Titanforging was a thing.
In all actuality raid gear is overinflated as well. You can run heroic, get a bunch of gear and crests and upgrade it all to 437 just like m+.
Sounds more like to me they need to raid with a better guild. Otherwise, nobody is forcing anyone.
I havenāt had the opportunity yet to get into mythic raids, I took a 3 month hiatus around January shortly after DF came out, so Iām behind on my ilvl and my guildās gone ahead a bit, but I donāt think anybodyās ever āforcedā me to do M+ for gearing up.
Not to say I donāt believe it happens, but M+ is just a faster way up then raiding and many people utilize this to their advantage. For me Iād rather not sacrifice my personal enjoyment of the experience just to act like Iām in a full-time job again. Iām playing a game, not working it.
The people annoyed by DF are the silent ones.
DF is good for raiders and M+
Itās milquetoast for casuals or soloers or people who donāt have time to be a part of a static group. Pugs.
If this game didnāt want to put mythic raiding on a pedestal and wanted to give rewards for the same amount of effort then 447s would be at +25s or something, and the gear rewards from m+ would never stop scaling, just it will reach a point where itās mathematically impossible to do.
Also, still lacking a CE equivalent achievement for people to aspire to because Keystone Hero is way too easy, and the season title is equivalent to Hall of Fame because of itās exclusivity.
Instead: M+20 must be free because thatās where the gear ends, and everyone must have it.
Gear is already meaningless as you can gear out really quick in a couple weeks. If anything adding more gear isnāt a solution. The game has just become stale and boring for most people and they can barely get new players with an old game like wow. And they preferred to make designs that spite old players rather than try to keep what they got.
The only good thing which is to not underestimate is DF has a faster patch cycle which helps the expansion not dip too much like SL did which was pretty bad.
But yea they need to rework the wheel if they want to make it interesting and their only solution for last expansions was to add borrowed power. As if gear canāt be meaningful then you need something else and borrowed powers were it.
Unless they want to go back on M+ being a loot pinata and probably rework the vault there isnāt much they can do to make gearing interesting and meaningful in the longterm.
Not adding more gear. Adding more gearing paths to players that donāt do forced group content.
Yeah, they canāt adapt beyond raiding and dungeons.
When you add more gearing paths you just add more gear unless they are exclusive to each others. Thatās what weāve seen with M+ and every systems theyāve done this before.
There needs to be a generic currency where gear can be purchased from vendors and this gear works in both raids and m+ as well as other content that I would be referring too.
This gear is also upgraded by the same currency.
Yes we had badges before.
But Blizzard got a PTSD from badges.
