Lazarak - mark my words. When it fails, they will blame it on not having GDKP. lol
I love classic but 2019 was enough to fill that need. This time around, for me at least. With no changes for example dual spec. I have zero hype for it. Now, tbc pre-patch might see me return for that.

All that does is promote stronger player retention.
What do you consider a failed fresh, anywho? Are there conditions?
I already know a bunch of people that will log on to save their names and will go afk till tbc pre-patch.
I dont know what conditions I would call it a failure. But for me it not having dual spec is a start. =)

Kind of hard to call something a failure with no real conditions. Also, I wouldn’t put dual spec off the table entirely. There are reasons for that I hear though different avenues.
I wouldn’t mind a duel spec either, but for the majority they are playing for specific reasons and dual spec isn’t an interruption of these reasons.
You and I play shaman so ofc duel spec is cool
Class balance? Will Warriors reign supreme in pve again? But Resto druids hots not stack? will Debuff limit be increased?
I play Hunter, Mage, Priest and all 3 pvp and pve specs are very, very different. I mean, even Warrior and Rogue are in the same boat. You wont pvp in fury spec? or in combat spec. Dual spec is needed.
Class balance in what avenues? Vanilla classes are balanced in pvp. Do you mean balancing the dps meter? Most people who enjoy a good fresh rerun aren’t doing it for the raids. Debuff limit I am not sure of, but doesn’t disrupt my reasons for playing.
I don’t disagree that duel spec is good. But all I can say is it’s not off the table and that’s as far as I’ll go

The server could still go through the Era cycle before opening the Dark Portal and continuing to Level 70 and Outland.

I believe they’ll drop era servers for tbc and possibly wrsth and that’s prob a big purpose of the rerun
I was running AV (2 min queue) on my lv57 mage. But now im on TW on my lv30 mage. lol
Its AV week so im sure the WSG/AB qeueues arent that good.

I don’t think it will fail but its not gonna have anywhere near the 2019 numbers because that was the first time you could ‘officially’ play classic WoW in 15 years. And yeah, the usual zombies are gonna blame it on the GDKP ban and its gonna be glorious.

2019 classic level hype will never be seen again. I don’t even think new games will match that hype level no matter how hard they try
