Not sure why we need to write giant posts about why we don’t play fresh
People going from SoD to fresh will enjoy the levling til 60, and slowly get more annoyed from the lack of QoL changes they got used to in SoD.

The reason they are doing classic fresh again instead of classic plus is because they realize they are doing an omega bad job with class changes

theyre playing fresh specificially becayse they dont like sod
The only reason I played SOD was because it’s different. If i wanted to play classic i would be on era servers. Imagine playing pala and warrior in classic again after playing SOD. Even the mere though of it induce vomit. I already payed classic era and not going back again

I diasgree, respectfully. There are a couple classes that are OP for sure, but the rest of us are competitive.

It doesnt though. Yes Boomkins are ridiculous and can just cheese you to death, no fun in that really, so basically I would say most Boomys are mouth breathers in PVP.
Pallys and Shammys, yes they can be silly in PVP for sure.
The rest of us feel pretty balanced quite frankly.

You are free to your opinion, I even said there are some who feel it’s fine. It is quite clear the majority of people don’t think that though. Nothing wrong with that it just shows everywhere you go and read about it. I would even say it is not logical to compare nochanges pvp and sod bc they are so vastly different.
Boomkins are always like that when they become a mainstream pvp spec. In cata RBGs, most teams stack 3 of them. The top teams stack them. It is actually been the same for every single expansion that wow has RBGs including retail. Boomkins are a top contender and always will be.
I wouldn’t say imbalance means “op” I’m not talking about specific classes, I’m just talking about it as a whole compared to stock pvp
I could go into deep detail about why that is but it’s not a big deal. Two different games as I said

Stock or Vanilla PVP was alot of fun, but only because most of us were noobs just living our best lives, however there certainly were META classes, Warrior and Rogue if I recall and of course Druids in WSG.
Vanilla PVP def had more classes that could hard counter though, thats been lost through the years and I do miss it.
For sure, the thing about vanilla is if you are making a meta team and are vs a meta team, you actually require a balanced roster of classes to cover specific roles. In sod, you can certainly stack specific classes to get the job done. This is what my crew did when we played sod anyways, we still prefer vanilla pvp in regards to meta v meta sweaty games
I love both era pvp and sod (even with its shortcoming). But, for me at least with nothing new added. I wont be touching fresh.
I’m slowly leveling a mage on TW, just in case SOD dies out. I will cancel my sub and continue my journey there.
Phase 6 is looking not bad at all, people just doom and gloom. Sure alot of people will play fresh but the majority won’t make it to 60. I’ll play fresh just for leveling fun, but still raid in sod

You should be fine as long as you don’t use the AH or play with very many people. You’ll be one of the few, especially after the very small wow direct update for SoD…
But have fun! Nothing wrong with doing what you enjoy. WoW is very solo friendly.
The post response and some polls I’ve seen are making me more optimistic. I think the dudes wanting to start fresh are mostly pve people anyways so don’t care if we loose them in sod. Bloodmoon making a come back I’m pumped !
