Do u suspect naga? I believe nerubians will be playable, xpac after warwithin or late xpac.
I just hate what this company has become. Somewhere Blizzard just lost their identity.
I’m hoping for Naga. I can’t fathom the minds of Blizzard’s idiot devs enough to suspect anything.
Given the Naga’s connection to both the Void and elves, I would say it makes more sense to add Naga than Nerubians in the expac after Warthin, Midnight. But Nerubians would make more sense in late TWW. Naga don’t seem to have any presence in TWW, even though it would be a good setting for them. So Nerubians are ideal.
I like Naga more than Nerubians, and think Nerubians would make for a better dedicated villain race than Naga because they are even more monstrous and Void-connected.
Because Blizzard never really valued its identity. It’s sad, but true. They valued money and success more than anything else, and were lucky enough to find the right people to create a good product at one point. They tried to make the quality of their products part of their identity to hang on to success. But that only works for so long, if you don’t actually value the qualities that allowed you to keep your products good.
It’s all about presentation and what could have been, with the earthen.
Imagine if Blizzard would have started off with giving the earthen druids and DHs and put that into a cool 20 second trailer, showing off unique meta forms for DPS/Tank and then all the new cat/bear/etc forms for druid? The crowd would have been 100% more stoked.
Blizzard could have then gone on to sell how unique the paladin charger is, how cool the racial mount is, and the heritage sets.
People would have focused on the new cool stuff and not just “ugh, another dwarf race, but now they are rocky and the women can have beards.”
Blizzard really did value its identity and it shows through their numerous references to overwatch in regards to development time and how they would openly talk about this as well.
I really think its merger with Activision and its hostility to devoting so much extra production really damaged its reputation and that these people are removed from the creative process just to constantly shortcut to get to the finishline.
Harronir.
Look them up.
If only there were other established races with lore pertaining to subterranian kingdoms / empires that they could have drawn from.
Do Sethrakk have extensive subterranean territories? I know they hid underground for a while, but I thought that was more the exception.
Many subterranean tunnels are flooded, a great place for a group of Naga to hide from the Azsharan loyalists.
Because they aren’t purely evil. You clearly have no idea about their lore if you assume that all ogres are evil.
But instead of finally giving such a significant race to the Horde, we get Night Elves/borne, female Humans for evoker, and now Dwarves… for the THIRD time. Like wtf, Blizz?
Ogres are kind of just a bit part, they’re not significant. Nightborne were part of the popular zone and raid combo, Dracthyr are dragon people. Earthen are, yeah, meh, but they’re the expansion theme
If an expansion focuses on ogres its like they’ll get something but they haven’t been relevant since WoD. That’s why they’re not playable yet
They were almost always present. Sometimes more, sometimes less. They are part of the Horde and wouldn’t even need a newly invented story like it is with other races. But Blizzard does what Blizzard does and always thinks they know best, no matter how much criticism they receive from their fans. The reaction during BlizzCon alone speaks volumes. Not to mention the numerous threads on the topic.
ooof. big huge oof. roasted. savage. just brutal.
looks at high elf thread well looks you lost that argument already.
Yes there are indeed the 4 dedicated fans over there who are excited for seeing the silver cov on beta.
But that doesnt mean they want void elves replaced either.
But sure lets say they did.
Now as for if the rest of the playerbase outside of those 4 people want it…
rolls eyes yep i think i know exactly what kind of person im dealing with here. grow up. on the list you go. not even worth wasting my energy on you.
Bread, i dont know what has gotten in to you today but maybe you should take a nap or something.
You seem to be a bit… off…
Are you living under a rock? ogres have being popular since the game started,
Every pool that ask about what race people want ogres are always top 3 and first place among the horde
After the trailer for warwithin, I am convinced harronir are going to be playable.
Great… the third time they use the night elf model. But hey, now they are giving them Quilboar features. I always wanted to be an elf, who is the offspring of a night elf and a pig creature… not.
I would rather play quilboar.
