I love the new Great worm from beyond

Hey, they does not remove your ability to fly, and from what I saw it just takes PAYING ATTENTION to avoid. Hell, some of us might even make a game or race out of dodging the thing so keep in mind there is more then one way to look at this.

It’s a passive aura that has more range than the draw distance. It doesn’t matter how much you’re paying attention.

Lol yeah WoW isn’t dead…but your comebacks are man.

Funny, I don’t remember anything in TBC with a 100 yard debuff aura which made maneuvering away from said threat progressively more difficult.

Look, I’m actually in favor of aerial threats where they make sense, like the patrolling mob over Mechagon. But a stacking annoyance with a range that makes them almost impossible to avoid isn’t a threat, it’s petty trolling on the part of the devs.

Nope, because in TBC it was a 300 yard instant death mechanic over Orgrilla instead of a snare, honestly probably longer range than 300 yards that those dragons had as I am just ball parking a guess at this point. Point is, you could’t fly very high at all else risk instant death.

All Blizzard put in was a snare which, even the Wowhead article mentions, can be avoided by being careful where you fly/flying low enough. Could of been an instant death/dismount instead, like in TBC.

Last I checked a stacking slow isn’t dangerous or compelling. Seems like its sole purpose is to just slow us down like everything else in this terrible expansion.

Wow is the worst it’s ever been and it’s going to get worse before it gets better but keep living in denial.

This I can see, but far too many posters are unable to narrow down what they hate about things, like if the stacking slow is the only issue, focus on that. Don’t come across as hating the idea of threats in the air when you feel the right ones will be a good addition.

However, even I know the problems Blizzard seems to have with the right balance of things, they often go too far one way, too far the other way, then too far the first way.

8.3 has some really amazing things in store for us! I can’t wait.

We will. I can’t for the life of me figure out why you’d waste so much time on a forum of a “dead” video game that you think is so bad though. lol

This is exactly the problem. If you don’t rally against the whole idea next thing you know the air hazards will be worse than the current daze mechanic.

Are you going to keep spouting that same post again and again and again? Why don’t you let me worry about what I do with my time.

If it stacks get high you can rp walk on the ground faster than you will be able to fly. Will it fix afk flying,? no, it will just make it last longer and people will just log and stop playing. If it becomes too annoying I’ll just unsub til Shadowlands, if it’s the same in shadowlands, FFXIV will get my money.

Nice, it will add some depth and risk/reward to flying. Can’t wait.

Speak for yourself.

You can’t wait for a slowing effect? Ever in the defense of Blizzard right?

Glad you recognize it for what it is – spite.

This will not play well.

If you think people were upset when Legion introduced a nofly progression zone right after flight was enabled. . .

…you 'aint seen nothin yet.

I don’t think Blizzard is going to like the result of this envelope pushing.

Yep. Exactly. It’s a cut-and-paste concern troll.

Translation: “I’m tired of playing with other people. Other people are horrible. Make them go away so I can play wow as a single player game, Blizzard”.

I’m gonna skip that zone.

Obviously you haven’t tried the PTR or you wouldn’t spout such ignorant nonsense.
