I love BFA so far and maybe I am missing something on the criticisms - did you feel the same way and when did the excitement break for you?

Sure, and I heard the same about Zarhym… and before that Ghostcrawler.

I would bet every bit of my laughably low amount of gold - that we will say the same of whoever comes next.

… that is, IF, someone comes next.

Drust are Vrykul in case you haven’t noticed.

Humans are basically deformed Vrykul. Now, due to the Vrykul Blood, they are more similar to their original Vrykul form.

Did you miss the part where I said descendents and the Kultirans being the same size as actual vrykul (and seemingly twice their mass)?

And dont get me started on the female model. Tattooed muscular vrykul women vs tumbler blogger.

ugh.

Hahaha your points that you have made has reminded me on really why I don’t miss it. 4 hours in wailing caverns? man i remember that 8 hour Saturday for AQ40 but we were like family.

The absolutely necessary to buff share was so daunting because playing a non viable spec really did hurt when leveling. but after plaing FFXI … Wow was SO FAR ABOVE in how easy it was to level.

but I disagree with your class fantasy idea. I still feel like the class first is still there and spec second. just the spec now adays is far closer together but maintained the class fantasy…but i do miss the class buffs that’s for damn sure.

I’m more annoyed that they fixed some Legion problems halfway through that expansion and then reintroduced them in BfA like AP grinding and expensive consumables.

Choking out the gold supply was also a dick move.

my dislike is pretty simple. they took more away than they added for the classes, then pretty well copy and pasted legion into new zones with nothing new aside from the azerite system which is an rng headache.

The story also seems kinda forced and recycled, but that doesnt bother me as much as the lack of effort in class development. No new talents or skills? taking away artifact abilities entirely or making them a talent choice… why? after you get your last talent row there is nothing to look forward to.

I like BFA, mostly because world PVP has been handled better than it has ever been before. However I would say your assessment might be especially positive right now because you:

My opinion… if you just play the game as a casual, you will enjoy the game. If you go for the higher level stuff, you will find the faults. I am casual and absolutely still loving the game. I love every part of BfA that I have played. I don’t raid or do dungeons unless required for a particular questline.

As long as you are enjoying the game, you are doing it right for you. Keep up the good work and don’t let negativity ruin it for you. After all, it is a game and should be fun.

Uhh… sorry, but you think Kul Tirans are taller than Pureblood Vrykul?
Imgur
The males aren’t even taller than Tauren!

Blizzard has a lot of fun with some character sizes.

Like Yrel in Hellfire Citadel is absolutely massive.
Something about twice the size of a tauren even though when we first meet her she is normal sized.

Feel free to compare Kultiran sizes to Vrykul from leveling zones in Stormheim and Northrend.
I am certain they are of similar size.

I play as casually as I can.
Problem is I pay attention to the details and the story.

Nothing is more aggravating.

I’ve hated it since it’s announcement, only played it because my friends were still playing, would have canceled right than otherwise. I despise the faction war and an expansion based around it was a horrible idea, especially after how Legion ended.

The expansion should have been about us uniting together to heal our world and remove the giant sword sticking out of it. But instead we get the Horde once again going on a genocidal rampage making me, and I’m sure others, wonder why we should allow it to survive any longer.

And before the “it’s WARcraft” hurr durr starts, no, it’s “World of Warcraft” as in the world the Warcraft games take place in. There is plenty of war without using the faction war garbage.

I have enjoyed this expansion and don’t have complaints. So far to me, every expansion has been an improvement over the previous one. In WOD I was sucked in to the garrison to much, but I did enjoy them, they just took too much time as WOD was alt friendly and profession friendly. I don’t feel obligated to do things I don’t enjoy in BFA. I have more freedom now in WOW than I have ever had. There are more choices out there and you don’t need to be sitting in queue for hours as in years past. Now I’m not sure how many times you can stand doing the same world quests. Content is not lacking for me, but someone who spends 5 hours a day will run out of content more quickly in BFA than in previous expansions.

Yah, but these are NPCs. They’re the same size. And Kul Tirans are still shorter than Tauren.

I also liked the way classes were hanging out together and faction was less important. I would have rather seen us move that direction as well and specialized our class talents in class instances

it depends on your class if you like it or not.meta classes priest,dk,rogue, mage, lock all like bfa other classes that arnt meta dont like it.it has to do with class design imo.

look at who complains about and who says they like it.

It’s the Goldilocks effect… for some players BfA is too Hot or it’s too Cold or it’s Just Right. I’m in the Just Right for BfA. Not as difficult as Legion, Crafting is still dead, the Alliance is forced to do a Mythic Dungeon but all in all its okay. The story telling is pretty interesting and the dungeons and raids are not too boring or too difficult.

You say it’s Just Right but then say entire systems are dead…how pathetically low have your (our) standards become? lol

Only their not. Infact you’re horribly off.

Vrykul are almost twice the size of Tauren. It’s amazing you’re entire argument is over their size and your entire point is also wrong.

Man, putting so much focus in a races height. That’s rich.
