I’ll never be able to fly in dreanor or legion

That’s my while point, it takes like what? 30 to 40 mins to do some daily quests at Draenor and the pathfinder would happen in a short period of time but people like OP are so monumentally lazy that the can’t be bothered to do a little, just liiiiiittle bit of work for something.

I completely agree with you.

I was making a point to someone else who said “we all had to do it, so should you!” I paid thousands of gold to fly in the first 4 expansions but now you get most free. I’m not complaining. I’m not asking for a reimbursement.

Understand what? That you guys don’t want to do old content but you want to fly there?
It was designed so flying was not needed. Either put in the work or don’t fly. It’s that simple.

uh…yeah…as if I am the ONLY player in this game :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
MY situation ISNT the same as millions of others.
I couldnt care less if they change pathfinder as my days in this game are numbered any way. Im already finding myself looking at other games.
And the MAIN reason for that is…drum roll please…crap like pathfinder.
I was really enjoying WoW when I started playing.
And then I got my first charcter into WoD and huh…all that enjoyment was killed by PF and that abominable garrison that made me the peon.
Moved into Legion and the same thing. PF killed the game for me.
Now its repeated in BfA.
Huh…i wonder what aspect of BfA is making me not want to play?

Really? As I’ve said 3 times already, people get flying in Cata and Mists for free while myself and many others had to pay for it. We’re not here asking for our gold back. We welcome the change to rope in newer players to keep subs up.

So much wrong with this post. First, you want to collect mounts in these areas but don’t want to grind rep? That seems counter productive. Second, the game isn’t dying because you have to meet some basic requirements to fly in a couple areas. And third, keystones weren’t able to be deleted and reaquired in legion, and they gave the reason for the temporary change in the latest q&a.

I completely agree with you.
It’s not like we have to do this on every toon. That would be toi much and I’d probably only have flying on 1 toon. Lol.
One and done.

You still pay 10,000 gold for flying on a new character if you want max-speed. The only thing they took out was the individual specific requirement for the expansion.

Also, cata REQUIRED flying. many of the zones are impossible to navigate properly without flying. WoD was built with not being able to fly in mind.

Again…you just reinforce…

“Good job at trying to understand returning players and grow the player base…I bet you’re fun to hang around, all alone in your own little sandbox.”

I’m not a returning player, this is an alt. I unlocked pathfinder during the expansion it applied to…still, I can empathize with the OP and others who log in and need to grind old content with nerfed rewards.

All the while…people like you cry, because the op getting an ability from an old expac might challenge your epeen somehow…

What part of WoD did you miss?
There are a couple zones that its fairly horrific trying to get from where you land to where you need to go.
What i cant figure out is why “you guys” are having a hard time figuring out that WE WANT TO PLAY OLD CONTENT.
We just dont want to spend months grinding PF for two expansions to do it.

sure go ahead. make an option to buy flying
just make sure you account for how readily available gold is.
also make sure that any character who buys flying isn’t allowed to progress that account towards pathfinder (the goal is to use pathfinder to unlock flying, not use flying to unlock pathfinder).

Paying for riding skills is irrelevant. You had to do that back then too. You didn’t have to grind out mundane reps and do a list of mundane tasks just to be able to fly. You hit max level, small gold fee and you’re flying.

All in all, I wouldn’t so much mind if they increased how much rep you get for each faction by more and more as each expansion is released.

Really?
I wanted to run a raid in WoD about 10 days ago.
It took 20 minutes or longer to run and fight my way to the entrance.
20 minutes to get to ONE raid entrance over having to figure out how to get around that mountain range and having to fight thru mob after mob to get there.
Built with not having flight in mind my rump.
They intentionally made the barriers between zones to drag out gameplay as much as possible.

Guess you missed the grappling hook quest?
Everything in WoD is accessible without flying. Yes. It was designed that way.

Well from all the complaining about having to play the game to get flying you sure had me fooled that you want to play the content.

It does not take months. Hyperbole doesn’t make us come to your side of the argument. It took me 3 weeks on a very lazy schedule to get WoD pathfinding.

Again, I don’t honestly care if the returning player stays or goes. If grinding for rewards isn’t their thing, they are in the wrong genre. There’s a ton of games out there that allow instant gratification. Go play one of those.

Hey…doesnt matter to me. Im not the one bleeding subs since WoD.
When this game fails I’ll move on to the next like I have for 25 years and Blizzard can have a board meeting trying to figure out why they allowed PF fanboys to help cause a problem that didnt need to exist.

Just stop. With every post you make yourself to be more and more of a childish instant-gratification seeker.

This game/genre isn’t for you my guy.

take your own advice.
Im not the one making the game hated by many here. PF fanboys are.

uh…yeah…actually it does when you have a JOB and a FAMILY to deal with.
