I think you took what I said severely out of context. Nobody (myself included) asked for 100% drop rates. Repeating old raids for transmog is no different than re-running current content for a specific drop you want.
Doing tedious, semi-pointless and mundane tasks, especially in 4 year old content to unlock a global feature is another.
Funny to hear this crying excuse ‘well muh had to do it’.
You all do realize that YOU had to spend a LOT more time getting experience to level up historically than we do today, right?
I can get about a level per dungeon right now.
So this lame excuse that you had to do it differently or it took so long isnt relevant. Not in the least.
They changed the requirements for MoP flight and northrend flight.
Sorry but things change.
That’s what MMO games have always been though. They are either raid-boss challenges or grinding for achievements. If you remove the grind after the more dedicated players got it so the fair-weather players just get everything for free, you’re swinging the pendulum in the other direction. You’re making it so that ignoring content in favor of waiting for the handouts > working towards it.
As one of the grinding old school MMO players, I have always hated it when they turn around and give for free what I had to earn. Regardless of how old the content becomes. If you want it badly enough, go grind it like we did. Typically just being higher level makes it incredibly easy compared to when it was current.
Exactly. TIME is the problem.
TIME better spent in CURRENT content rather than running to OLD content raid entrances to snag an achievement or transmog.
All the time you spend on the forums could be used to unlock flying.
Heck you would probably have it by now if you’d quit complaining and just get started.
Personally I think Pathfinder is great.
Since WoD I’ve focused one toon at the start of the expansion.
Completed every zone and the entire story on that toon.
Amazingly parhfinder seems to just unlock for me.
Then all the alts I have collecting rested XP fly through the content. GG. EZPZ
I miss nothing and it’s been fun. /shrug
You mean time doing current content which you stated once again before how it was boring the bajesus out of you. So I ask you WHAT are you doing with all your precious TIME that BFA bores you and you wont go back to earn something you want to do something you want like run those raids for Tmogs and mounts and what not?
And Im not complaining about spending MORE time leveling months ago compared to now. Things change as they are needed to change.
its time to remove the asinine PF requirements that would keep players tied up for months in old content either running pathfinder OR running to raid entrances to get the achievements, transmogs etc.
Blizzard isnt helping their game get new players here. Not in the least.
What they ARE doing is allowing PF fanboys to keep them convinced that making the game LESS fun and MORE annoying is somehow beneficial.
Sorry…what were the estimated sub number drops again?
yeah. It makes perfect sense to keep players from WANTING to play the game. If one wants the competition to do well, that is.
I honestly don’t care if you return. The majority of the players who left are not the ones I would play with to begin with. Every patch there’s a huge surge of players, and they all disappear within a month. My guild purposefully recruits outside of those windows so we don’t get players like that.
You’re an incredibly fickle bunch. You come in for a few weeks, make huge demands for free things and hand outs. Stomp your feet and hold your breath. Then you all disappear when your demands for unearned things are not met.
