I’ll never be able to fly in dreanor or legion

Didn’t play those xpacs . I won’t go around playing old content rep farming to unlock flying.

Not being able to fly there really discourages me from collecting transmog and old mounts.

I have BFA pathfinder and still can’t fly in bfa. Such a stupid idea to lock flying behind a time gate.

No wonder the game is dying. You take out anything fun from game.

Just like being able to delete keystones. It allowed People to have fun and you removed it.

just have both, the rep grind for those that want to “earn it account wide” and the buy it out right per toon for those that want that aswell. problem solved.

Same here. I mean you can’t get the achievement while leveling, because you don’t do all the quests. You have to make a concentrated effort to do all the quests in a place you won’t really go back to again. Seems sorta pointless really…

You are able to, you just won’t do the minimal amount of work it takes.

It’s my opinion they should reward it for all the characters in your account if you’ve earned Loremaster, that way they can’t say you didn’t do everything.

It definitely has a point, it makes leveling ALTs easier.

Time gate? You mean you-don’t-want-to-put-in-the-tiny-bit-of-effort gate?

Thanks for the heads up!

I didn’t play in them either (boosted this toon to be my BFA main) yet here I am today, doing loop-de-loops over Stormheim and Arak. And I did it before all the reputation boosts they just added.

For new or returning players, does it though? How much time do you have to put in for that expac to get the flying, vs time alts going through the 2 zones of that expac to outlevel the expac? Especially since they nerfed the exp required to level. It just has struck it for me as not worth the time invested to get the flying when you don’t spend a lot of time in that expac anyway.

Add pathfinder to vanilla/BC/wrath/cata/MoP. I’m sick of these casuals being able to fly in my outdated zones, instead of being stuck on the ground where they belong. /s

I started playing during Legion. I want back to Draenor to get flying because I knew I was going to have alts. The grind really isn’t that bad.

Yes, I was a returning player in Legion and finished Pathfinder of WoD during Legion. It was quick and easy. It payed off for leveling all my ALTs through WoD quickly.

Playing the game isn’t fun? Oh, it is old content.

I don’t understand the mentality that chalks up anything that isn’t new and shiney as not worthwhile.

I don’t see what would be so bad about having flying in any given expansion unlock after the next, newer expansion drops. Make it purchasable with gold like the other flying licenses. At that point there’s no reason to keep flying locked for the old expansion.

IKR. god forbid having to play the game

God forbid being able to play through old content at a reasonable pace, instead of trodding around giant mountains and cliffs on a slow ground mount. God forbid we aren’t padding out play time metrics in four year old content.

Then you don’t need flying in said content.

I am 2 days away from flying on Draneor. 3000 to go on 2 factions. Tanaan Jungle is first thing I do everyday so it gets done.

Good news, if you won’t go around to play “old content” you have no reason to fly there either.

Cool hu?
