Do I get extra rep for being 120?
You get the rep faster, so, after a fashion, yes.
In Draenor that only works for cat rep
lol!
I agree, just do it
work towards a goal… achieve that goal. pathfinder just takes time and not much effort at level 120
Or they could allow all expansions to scale from 10-110 so that while leveling a new alt you could complete the pathfinder quest and see the whole expansion.
That’s my 2c anyway.
I skipped most of WoD, yet I had no problem doing the minimal amount of work required to unlock flight when I returned. You possess the ability to do a simple thing and yet instead you turn your efforts toward whining.
I sincerely hope you never realize your dreams and remain frustrated until that magical day comes when you finally quit the game.
So you’re complaining about not unlocking flying in wod or legion, yet you did not support those expansions when they were current? So now here you are on the forums complaining about it? Honestly some peoples kids.
Unless you happen to not want to do every single chore on the Pathfinder list.
In 14 years of playing I have never met any single player who would, of their own volition, do every single chore on the list. Not a single one.
So you won’t have that quality of life for any alts you make or level through those expansions, or any farming on your main, because you refuse to do 2 weeks of casual content?
That’ll teach em.
OP didn’t play during that expansion, but has around 30 achievements just from dungeons and raids from the time the expansion was active.
OP also has nearly never Legion rep at exalted.
I am amazed how regularly the OP is able to make a complaint post about WoW. Its like clockwork. I expect the next one on Thursday. Don’t be late.
At this point OP is just turning into a generic troll.
Doing the Tanaan stuff, some of the dailies or side missions don’t give rep per kill, yes, but you do the entire thing faster at 120 than at 100, is my point.
Even faster if you just buy medallions
Meet me. 13 years, did every single chore on the list(s). And a whole bunch of unnecessary achievements just for those 10 points. On my own volition, mostly solo - gladly jumped in when it was group content. All at content.
This is an RPGer’s game play. I’m not the only one either, obviously. Lots of people do Everything and play WoW like it’s a Game.
ps. I also do old content when there’s something to get. My pally’s been doing dailies at Argent Tournament to get enough doodads to get her specific mount. This main was doing Dreamweaver paragon rep and got the mount last nite (so done with that!). Nothing wrong with doing old content for good reasons.
Of course I do lots of current content things too. I play almost every day and still have stuffs to do.
You make it sound like we turned our heads at those expansions. I didn’t play them because my computer started having issues and I didn’t have the extra money to fix or replace. Don’t assume the worst in people.
So since you didn’t play those xpacs you want things from those xpacs to be given to you? How about unlock it like every other person did
Or for the reasonable price of $25, you get get flying from the expansion pack you skipped, no excuses needed - just your hard earned cash so you won’t have to go through the torture of playing anything but max level content!
Don’t want to play? You won’t have to!
Flying: because you’re entitled to it.
Flying for gold, mission accomplished?
Yeah they should just hand it to you on a golden platter. Jesus.
You are unique. I would never do all of the stuff on the list. I prefer selecting my own playstyle and left to my own I would do:
Questing sure, but not Loremaster; In fact, there might even be areas I would skip altogether
Exploration, of course, inevitably, but not necessarily every pixel or even every zone if I’m not playing there;
Dungeons? Why bother now? They take too long; too little reward (thanks PL) ; and the XP for them is
Raiding? Stopped in Cata due to RL time demands. LFR? Haven’t done tourist mode, I do support it though – everyone should have the option of seeing end game. I’m just not interested
Rep grind? I only ever ground rep with factions that had things I wanted. The only reason to grind factions now is for PF! Some do have items but most of the items are useless. I still fail to see what rep grinding has to do with flying.
Numerous other in-game activities are omittied: BGs, Pet Battles, Crafting, Dueling; Overworld PVP; and notably absent is any single activity designed specifically with flight in mind (like FF’s aether currents). It’s an ever-growing and arbitrary chore list that awards flight too late to matter and without any legitimate rationale.
Everything else they pile on the list is just that: a pile on. I prefer to chose how I spend my in-game time.
I used to get a kick out of old content; dungeons, old raids; leveling alts… but 7.35 killed off that fun.
Now all that is left that I still enjoy is running my twinks. That is its own fun, but if you do BGs these days for rewards, you are certain to be sorely disappointed. Not only are the rewards total but Marks of Honor (which originally had a 100% drop rate for all levels) now drop so infrequently and arbitrarily (win, loose maybe you get one, maybe not; your team mates may get one, you may not… totally random) that if “reward” is your objective, BGs are not for you.
As an aside, the changes to loot (layered RNG and removal of all loot options; trade restrictions) have pretty much made the game unrewarding as a whole; the god awful scaling plan (Blizzard adopted the worst possible one) including ilevel scaling is also character builds are the game is unfun and unrewarding…which only adds to my belief that Pathfinder is another complete waste of my time.
AT is not my cup of tea, since the jousting mechanics are awful. In fact, most of Blizzard’s “machine” interfaces are very awkward and difficult to control.
I will agree overall that old content is much more fun than anything newer than 2015. That’s really when the game started its very steep and quite evidently, continuing decline.
I hope for WoW’s future; play in its past when I can stomach logging on; mostly these days, my game time is devoted to ESO.
Yeah they should just hand it to you on a golden platter. Jesus.
I would settle for reaching max level and paying a gold fee for the area flight license. I am not asking for anything to be handed to me on any kind of platter.
