while this is indeed a basic troll thread…

it’s going to see interesting how they are going to nerf certain covenants after the 1st raid then most of the people will have to literally start over with 0 anima and souls but a tonload of catch up to do for renown for the next fotm.

I hate the necrolords because of their abilities and would have picked them on all my plate wearers for the transmog and ideals. And it seems as if most people did go Kyrian as its the best for the majority of specs.

Pull the rip cord died for several reason. First they admitted there was no rip cord and second we realize they wouldn’t pull it even if they did. Instead they nerfed everything into the ground so it doesn’t matter and most of us expect bastians covenants to be nerfed in the first tier.

Nobody cared about pull the ripcord to begin with except maybe 1 forum poster.

I chose Bastion for arms because of arenas.
That spear to hold them in place is great in pvp.

I just got lucky that it’s also really good for prot.

No competitive content is out right now, so it doesn’t matter what you’re doing.

The real test will be when raids, mythic plus, and the new arena season open up.

You’re talking actual nonsense. The doomsaying led to extreme nerfs on the majority of the abilities to the point where some specs have a choice because they don’t matter.

In other cases (paladins being one), it is likely that 90% or more of the class/spec pick the same covenant. Perhaps you just think all Paladins are like-minded and happened to want to pick Bastion because it’s “palladiny”?
