We should remove the “classic” from this expansion because this is now retail. Almost all of the systems that people hate, hated, or seriously loathed from retail have been introduced at this point.
We are playing retail.
A few examples of the things I personally hate are:
*The introduction of templates and baseline stats in PvP. I know it’s the lesser played aspect of the game, but it’s the only reason I personally play.
*The talent changes, which took ten years of complaining to change back to talent points.
- The prepatch is horrible. My mage and enh shaman both feel like they hit with pool noodles and miss every other attack. I’m literally not going to log back in until July 20th as a result, there just isn’t any point.
We are no longer in the realm of classic, and we’re in the era of retail. If you feel like me dont no life this dogwater and just wait for So(X). I’m still going to Arena and BG because they were pretty good once you had gear, but I still think Classic+ is the best chance for WoW to get back to being what people wanted.

Classic is the name of a rerelease of a past expansion. That’s it. There’s nothing special about the name, stop thinking that way

No classic was directly in reference to pre activision World of Warcraft. Back with the original team of developers.

That’s the meaning most players ascribe to the product, but think of it like national security: What it means to a citizen (consumer) is a lot different than what it means to the government (Activision-Blizzard).
Don’t try and make any sense in these forums, you’ll just run into glazers.

After 4 versions of the game PvP gear will finally be optimal gear in all PvP besides WPVP, which doesn’t exist anyway.
Finally don’t have to gdkp pay pig to PvP.
