Stat templates aren’t MoP though… that’s Legion.
Then reforge and get more hit rating. Again templates are Legion, not MoP.
Also I believe BG’s are bugged at the moment, moreso the scaling up of gear since it’s scaling everyone to 89.
I actually agree with op, sorta. I don’t think of mop (or cata) as classic. I feel like classic ended with wrath, the original trilogy and the next 3 should have their own category, like post-classic (half joking).

I remember in 5.4 that people in PvE gear were stronger in WPvP but instanced PvP had special scaling to nerf PvE gear I believe, so that PvP gear was always better.
So the current problem with scaling in bgs is some by-product of that and us not being lvl 90.

You get to the game via the launcher where it literally says classic on the icon, even the game files are in a folder called “classic era” so I dont see how you could even come to that decission, let alone say it as though its fact…
At worse you could say its classic era, but to state its not classic is just plain wrong.

Lol no it’s been quoted many times that classic means it’s a faithful near recreation of the timeframe of that expansion. Case closed.
While I don’t disagree, I would point out that this is largely a philosophical and rather arbitrary point you’re making.
MoP Classic is classic, because it’s an older version being re-released, and that’s all classic means in this context, though perhaps when you (or some others) use it, you’d like it to mean something different (and maybe it does to some).
This could be said about any point of the game though, even Era, which is on a modern client, with late-game (and even new) changes, and definitely about Anniversary.
