I just locked myself out running stocks for my guild

I’m posting on my main and I think its an awesome change. I also have a 60 mage and priest. I think they should do a bunch of changes though so my opinion doesn’t matter much.

Yeah, but the game shouldn’t be designed around your personal opinion of what people should do. No matter how much you wish you were a special snowflake.

Playing to 3 lockouts on a Friday night and 3 lockouts on a Saturday morning and then being locked the entire day Saturday not just on your main but also all your alts is not a good way to design an MMO game. If you can’t understand that you just shouldn’t have anything to do with game design (like whoever thought of this hotfix).

I doubt Blizzard made this decision based on Yloh’s personal opinion lol

they made players run through brd to get to MC and Ubrs to get to BWL.

Let’s talk more about game design.

… but if you want to do more, you can buy an Extended Dungeon Pass from the in-game shop!

Haha for real though, I think this change sucks but if we have to accept it for a little bit so Blizzard can figure out a better solution, I’m cool. It’d be nice if they communicated more on this though, because as a permanent solution it’s not very good for the legit player base.

Also, I’m wondering if there are some issues with it. I’m in a group right now where our tank can’t zone in. They swear up and down they couldn’t have hit the cap over a 24 hour period so I dunno… only two options are they are lying or there might be an issue.

Ummmm… Congrats?

I was not aware there was a race involved in getting to the new limit, but nicely done!!

Thanks.

Except this changed was aimed at bots, not boosting
Please point to where in the ToS it states doing so is prohibited, oh wait

I can’t even begin to wonder how many brain cells you must lose when trying to reply about subjects you clearly don’t understand. Most people complaining or wanting clarity about running 30+ dungeons a day are not necessarily boosting anything. There are at least 7 different dungeons anyone can solo run for around 6 hours for specific reasons and get locked from raiding. The simple fact is that no one should have the right to tell me how I can spend my time in the game and you should have that exact same right. What if I want to camp alliance in red ridge for 12 hours a day for months at a time? Should there be a GM to tell me to stop? I don’t think so. If I want to pickpocket BRD runs 31 times in a day… we I’m just screwed. Yeah it wasn’t an arbitrary rule in vanilla, but by blizzards hand they forced this upon everyone. And it’s not even the principle that it would necessarily effect many people, it’s the fact that there is now a hardwired rule in the game that potentially limits my entertainment on a game that I pay to play every month. Just like you have a right to run mythic + all day on ur retail bois. How would you feel if Blizzard only allowed one account to do 1 mythic plus per week because someone thought spamming them was exploiting the game?

Blizzard might as well limit each account to 30 steps per day too. Seeing as traveling too much in the world gives some people an advantage if they can kill mobs or grind For xp or gold more hours of the day than others

Ooooh great point! They can then sell the “Logistics Enhancement Pass” on the shop too!

OH MY GOD! Wall of text!

Listen, Cheeko.

Can I call ya Cheeko? This is no different then the “can’t run an instance more than 5 times in one hour before a lock out.” rule. And I think you’ve come to terms with that one.

Blizzard can and will dictate the rules of their game. They made the damn thing.

Nobody is forcing you to play it.

I’ve come to the conclusion that you have to obviously be a troll. Either that or brainwashed so bad that there is no further point in try to get any point across. Just like how the Chinese government lies to its people and they believe the propaganda. Keep drinking the blizzard-ade dude

Hooory sheet. What we have here is dramatics! The melo kind!

I just see no positives whatsoever in further limiting players play time.

The positives is in the negative impact blizzard feels it will have on bot gold farmers using instances to farm gold.

I mean. Now we are back to square one.

It has no effect on bots. They are still massively profitable. All bots accounts pay for a monthly sub in less than 2 hours of farming. So now there will just be more to counteract the 30 limit

Especially when there are literal hundreds of better and faster ways to get rid of bots that don’t effect human players

Ok well there is where I iterate again that after looking at the information gathered from the investigation. All of which you are not privy too, Blizzard disagrees.

O yeah I forgot I missed that part where they specifically said that they tried other things that wouldn’t effect other players. Silly me
