My point is that regardless if they think it’s the best or most efficient way of combating the bot problem, influencing other players experience by introducing new game rules should never have been an option.
Blizzard is in bed with China now, has been for a while, Diablo immortal is the proof, Classic time token is another proof.
Communism is coming to Blizzard games my friend, better get used to it
Diablo immortal is a joke. But classic was supposed to be a relatively close imitation to vanilla. I was team #nochanges… and even though they have already changed the game in various ways, more and more changes just makes it worse every time. It has nothing to do with the fact they are sucking up to China, but the fact that there has been little to no communication since shortly after classic released. Hell if they are so greedy I’d even say paying more for the sub would be worth it if they used the money to get better anticheat systems in their games and reverted the idiotic 30 per day cap
An instance locked Priesthokage = a nude Priesthokage dispelling world buffs by the org portal hahaha! All kidding aside though, this limit needs to go.
Boosting is weak.
Why don’t these threads auto-close after a month or two?
You will be missed.
Godspeed, young priest.
The issues raised in them didn’t seem to go away, and with Blizzard saying the reversal on dungeon lockouts is potentially temporary, there’s really no reason to lock older threads like these.
Why would you want it locked?
The way lockouts work has changed multiple times since this thread was posted.
The information here is outdated and will confuse people looking for current info, particularly if someone misses the date.
Don’t necro threads. Start new ones in order to avoid pushing misleading information to the top of the forums.
Thankfully, I see that the TBC forum has a timeout on threads to prevent necros.
If THAT is what ruins the game for you and makes you want to quit then I shudder to think what your mentality in general is…seriously.
Everyone has the same set of rules. Within those rules, you can play the game the way you prefer. What are you asking for, that everyone gets to make up their own rules? Pretty sure that would be chaos in an MMO, might work in a single-player game

WoW forums necromancer class needs a nerf
Do you know what “citation” means? And you realize that every premise doesn’t require a citation and can be based on available information, past trends, etc. right?
Also, accusing him of appealing to authority doesn’t really apply since the argument he’s making is based on the perceived desires of the player base he’s appealing to. If you feel that sentiment isn’t shared by most players, please “cite” a survey that shows that players overwhelmingly support this change.
