I hate how much time I spent this week filling my vault for nothing

I wish you could spend your time and gift me the garbage you get.

I’m at a point with the vault where there’s like… 4? Items total, from mythic+ and mythic raid, that are an upgrade. Might be 5 idk.

Obviously avoidance would be cool too :stuck_out_tongue:

Replying to this again because this was the most encouraging thing out of this thread, and I wanted to thank you. I am suddenly feeling a bit more optimistic about this game because i’ll be able to get my 4/8 done soon and start farming that. Perhaps I’ll be able to catch up on some basic ilvl soon

Oh Oh. You could do what I have been doing the last 2 weeks…trying to level a character, but not outlevel it, so I can get the MoP garden, so I can get the dog, so I can level my Garrison, to get the dog there, so I can go to Legion Dalaran and get an item to show to the dog, so it goes to Dalaran and then dies in the fiery Dalaran crash to be able to finally loot the bowl in the Isle of Dorn.

I tried it with my Earthen person, to knock out 2 achievements with one alt, however, I hit 70 before I got enough resources for the garrison and it automatically put me in TWW, so I couldn’t loot the stuff in Dalaran.

So, I started over with a DK last night. I just have to figure how to level up to get the garden in MoP where the dog will show up, and then the garrison without hitting 70. I mean, I am already level 14 just leaving the DK starting area.

I don’t know how else to get the dog bowl. All my other characters already saw DF Dalaran crash.

The relative simplicity / lax tuning of the first half of mythic, coupled with day 1 cross realm had a pretty big impact on the mythic pug scene.

So, RNG is RNG?

Ah, so just continuing the tantrum I guess. Thankfully blizzard will just continue to ignore you. Everyone else should follow suit.

Wait … what? Do you mind explaining this a bit more? What would you outlevel? Like – if you were to simply go back to pandaria as a level 80 where would it stop stop you?

" a man must learn his limitations" or just keep chasing that dragon until you die…

My main has the dog in her garrison, however, when she goes to Legion Dalaran, it’s already in the phase where TWW comes in, so I can’t get a pebble. I can see it as I’m getting logged in, but then it phases out.

ah interesting, I’ll probably try to get this. I wonder – do you have all of the campaign finished? I don’t have a dog but when I go into legion dalaran after having done all of the campaign it looks normal. Though in all fairness I did just search for a pebble and did not find one

You are getting a extra reward for doing content in the game. Thats what the vault is. You guys obsessing about getting the best RNG out of it need to realize this.

It’s not an extra reward. It is the gear that the game is tuned around.

Thank you for the explanation. I had assumed gear grew with the difficulty pluses.

At this point in the game the chance of me getting any upgrade from the vault is comically low. :person_shrugging:

I guess I’ll craft a neckpiece now to go with my crafted weapon/bracers/boots/belt.

It would also be infinitely easier than clearing an entire mythic raid. Which is why they don’t do this.

It is literally an extra reward. All previous alternatives did not provide this reward. This makes it a “bonus” reward for clearing that content. You want it to be a reliable progression path. It never has been.

“I got lucky while making sure to max my vault every week in previous seasons” does not change this.

Because it is in the game, it is not “bonus”

By your logic then any kind of RNG gear is “bonus”

Blizzard does not tune 12’s around people wearing heroic gear that they got from the end of their +7’s. They obviously intend people to work their gear up from the vault over the weeks. Every time one doesn’t get gear from the vault, it is a delay of one week.

If you can’t see that then I don’t know what to say

I’ll make sure to tell my employer that my bonus is not a bonus because I clocked in. What kind of logic is this? A thing exists = it cannot be a bonus?

Blizzard doesn’t tune 12’s around much at all and that is why meta comps exist. There is no reason at all to provide additional rewards to people that stack a group for push ranges.

Run mythic raids if you want a reliable gearing path for mythic track. This has always been the case.

That Pesa doesn’t think they will have full mythic track by end of season doesn’t change that the vault is a bonus reward and not a reliable progression path. You hit your ceiling. It happens.

I do find it funny that people cheered for a M+ key squish and then immediately turned around and started begging to inflate rewards into the push range though.

These complaints ultimately come down to “I can’t do mythic raids but I am entitled to mythic gear anyhow.”

I do find it funny that some people posting here are unable to consider that there are multiple people on these forums with differing opinions. That they lump everyone together. Particularly funny because I started a thread, where I think you commented, about the pitfalls of M+ not having enough key levels at certain ranges.

If you regularly get a bonus, then that is a performance standard your employer is setting. If your performance stays consistent or improves and you do not get a bonus where you once did, then that is a reduction of pay. If you were my friend and that happened to you, I would tell you to leave that job ASAP. But this is a game and not the real world.

Blizzard balances around the vault, end of story.

Full cap right here. If you’re talking about 18’s? sure. But 12’s? you’re saying they put in an entirely different affix but don’t do ANY tuning? And they literally just tuned challenger’s peril. The sad thing is they listen to people like you even though you have no idea what you’re talking about because you post in like every thread on these forums

Meta comps are the design of Blizzard. They have commented on this in interviews. They have also commented that they try to maintain the meta. The most populous part of the player base cares about meta comps. It actually turns out that casual players are not the most populous … the most people playing this game are mid-level key runners. This is why posting a tier list video always gets so many views. It’s ez money

Mythic raids are not a reliable source of myth track gear for an indivudal player, other than … the vault! This tells me you haven’t raided much yourself. If you had, you’d know that the drop rate is abysmal and you will likely only see an upgrade every other week or so. We have a CE raider above that touches on this as well

If a group sticks together then it becomes a more reliable source as the raid gears up. But then again why am I saying this, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Again, I have said this before in this thread that I expect to be close to 639 by the end of this season. What I don’t like is the weeks of delay. But you wouldn’t understand this because you obviously spend all of your time in the forums and don’t push keys. You even have your profile hidden so that you don’t get called out on this

Stop clowning around. Your avatar suits you

ITT: OP gets called out for whining about a non-issue, continues to argue her side like that will make it any more convincing.

No.

Push high keys for a chance at myth track gear from the dungeons themselves, or rely entirely on your once a week vault lottery.
