Yup! Also I’ve noticed people in higher keys are much more polite and if the key goes bad it’s just “gg” and people leave the group. but in lower keys people get really angry and start flaming each other.

People who push harder content understand people make mistakes, and often understand that we learn more from failure than we do from success.

The challenge I have is I can’t get into those groups. It’s the lfg boss. And I started looking too late so rosters are full. I think my only chance of being in a decent mythic raid this season is to wait until people are trying to re-fill their rosters

I am always amused when people don’t realize that the forum toon doesn’t match up with the person’s main. Experienced players will be able to look up my main easily, I have made a very easy path for you to find it

I’m not sure if it’s just worse on NA than EU but curve, some timed 12-13s, and 627~ ilvl is enough to get a pretty consistent invite to a pug that’ll manage at least 3 bosses, likely 4.

The vault is a bonus roll. You should play the content you like, and as you play you should fill your vault. Sometimes you win the bonus roll and sometimes you have to take a socket.

Thank you that is encouraging. I am just getting into 12’s now so perhaps if I can get a couple timed this week I’ll get some invites. It doesn’t help that my one mythic kill log was a 22. I was holding on to arcane surge for the add phase because we were having trouble getting them down

Lol I’m not an alt, I have a single alt I hardly play. How about, get a damn hobby and don’t play the game 24/7 , make some real goals, then it doesn’t matter all that much.

There’s a big difference between bis and being viable. This is just complaining for the sake of it. Literally everyone has weeks where they worthless loot from vault, you’re not anymore special than the rest of us. Also you have like 270 ap you don’t even play the game or did you get banned on your main and paid for a 2nd account to post on kek

Trinkets aside, you can always use your crests to craft 636 gear which is only 3 ilvl off max. If you are looking for tier, the catalyst makes it a bit more generous in the vault as any armor piece can work to get myth.

You put this better than I did.

It’s not the end of the world to get a bad vault, but it sure is very unsatisfying and whenever it happens it makes me question whether this is the game for me or not

I haven’t cared about vault since like, week 3 of the xpac. I’ve only been taking unique transmog items now.

I’m not proceeding past AOTC (done) and KSM (might do KSH, but not really feeling it). I don’t need myth track gear, I’ve been done for a long time.

But there’s definitely a gap to myth track that seems a bit too wide right now IMO.

Id say its okay to run a raid and not get any gear, but doing a lot of other content in addition to the content where your BIS gear SHOULD come from is annoying at best, especially when you dont get something. I am at the point where I run the raid and just collect coins and get bags of gold. Screw M+, screw devles.

I am new to this vault thing. I generally avoid group content, but have been doing a lot lately due to the anniversary event.

Isn’t the vault just bonus loot? Raids and such are still the primary source of gear or did that get replaced with the vault?

M+ and Delves drop higher gear from the vault (once per week) than from the chests themselves (which are infinitely farmable)

For people who run a lot of M+ the vault is the only source of gear. Once you start running 7’s the gear caps out at heroic, but the vault drops myth track

edit/correction: you can go into raid and get gear that way to then use in M+ and many people do. but if you only run M+, which is most people I think, then the vault is your only chance at myth track gear which is significantly more powerful than what drops from 7+

Loot in general in this game is just obnoxious. I know its all RNG but sometimes its just feels deliberate.

Unfortunately that’s not going to work if the content you enjoy is tuned around ilvls you’d need the vault to consistently acquire. Even +10-11keys can be boring for people, let alone delves.

I have no interest in the community behind M+ and don’t have the will to commit to a guild. Delves have been a godsend for a lot of people.

Get multiple bad weeks? oooh boy.
I got a crafted staff on my healer like week 2 and a couple weeks ago my vault was a 1h, an OH, and a staff with bad stats :joy:
