Yes, because they already killed those other bosses and will get nothing from them, you’re being punished for back filling another raid

I will always finish teh raid, even if I don’t get loot for it. I can awlays requeu.

The alternative is the game not putting you into an instance with 1 or more bosses downed. If YOU want to wait that long, be my guest.

I mean, it’s your prerogative on how you use your time. I prefer not to waste it and be punished for back filling

Like I said, if you you’re going to get punished either way, might as well never complete an backfill raid again

That’ll do nothing to those fresh queuing and kill partial runs when someone leaves

I had no idea this was now a thing until this thread. Terrible design. I hope they correct this moving forward.

If a player pitches in for a partial, they should get a pass on leaving when they’ve cleared again to those bosses. That would be the most fair.

The system can totally track what you’ve downed. Now if you leave w/out killing a boss you haven’t killed? Debuff is fine.

I’m glad you agree with us! If we queue for LFR, we signed up for ALL bosses, not to join an in-progress raid and miss out on a boss or two.

some of us would prefer to only que for fresh raids, yes. why do u care if we do or not? let us have the option. the point is we do not have the option currently.

You do have the option.

Finish raid.
Leave and get the deserter debuff.

Options usually have trade offs.

He means the second time he kills a boss, you get nothing. The first time, he got loot, then he requeued and killed it again for absolutely no reward.

Back filling wouldn’t be needed if people didn’t get dropped into instances in progress to replace leavers.

That’s pretty disingenuous, cuz that’s not what is being done.
People are leaving unfinished group content, which there is a consequence for.

Aren’t you doing the same if you seriously believe that people who already had to queue for LFR twice to get all three bosses down should get punished if they don’t want to kill two more bosses that give them ZERO reward of any kind? That is rather selfish and inconsiderate of you.

They already had to invest more time than someone who was “lucky enough” to get into a fresh run and able to complete it (not a given, seeing how the average LFR player performs at the second boss).
