I got a week long ban for looking for a right-leaning guild

I’m seeing “keep politics out of gaming” again and I already posted the meme, so instead you get the sarcastic comment about wanting good non political games with manly men accompanied by this gif:

Or is it because of math and the current system in place that only allows for 2 parties? Especially the EC as it requires 50% +1 to win, not the largest share. We’d need something like ranked choice voting to let 3rd parties be vialable on the Presidential level.

It doesn’t help them that practically no 3rd party group has any actual plan to get power, except a few like WFP that are working their way up and forming coalitions with the party that is closest to them.

Really?

REALLY?

There’s overlap but it’s fundamentally an umbrella term to represent different sexualities and gender identities.

Politics is a layer on top of that coming from social advocates who are fighting for social policy, but LGBTQ+ does not inherently define a political stance when you have cases of various different individuals with differing political ideologies, including people who aren’t even into politics, but can still identify with the term because their sexuality/gender identity sits within it.

Therefore, “lgbtq+ friendly” is not exactly a political term. It simply means that people of all sexualities and gender identity are welcome in a space, and it’s outwardly being advertised as such. But it’s not inherently saying “you have to be a liberal/conservative/centrist etc…”

The equivalent of this would be implying all heterosexuals are political. Which arguably, can be claimed since there is a core philosophy that every form of social structure is political in nature. But I believe that’s not how we go about it when we talk about what makes something political or not, which usually is used more of a substitute for controversial.

Dare I ask about the worms?

Let me present to you non-political gaming

Watch unscripted interviews with any of them, not just edited CNN, Fox or BBC propaganda.

It’s 2 sided. Still political.

It’s literally just a statement saying "we won’t persecute you for being gay/trans/straight/etc.

From experience, most people ignore a select few that should belong on that list.

You haven’t heard about RFK’s brain worm?

But there is a left bumper and a right bumper!

I have not

He claimed to have had a worm in his brain, but on one hand that was during legal arguments as a method to getting reduced payments to his ex wife.

On the other hand, he REALLY likes playing around with animal carcasses so it’s not out of the question either.

I mean, I would agree with him, even though West is way more closely aligned with ‘classical’ left-ism. He did qualify he doesn’t support them.

You mean the game about the left and right paddles battling back and forth?

As a non-American, the brain worms is like the one thing I’ve heard about that guy.

Dropping politics for a moment, I agree with you. BUT, hitting a bucket at the driving range is fun. I know it might sound strange, but it’s a lot like bowling.

Bowling, you have some etiquette like, don’t start your walk up to the line if someone in the adjacent lane is going to bowl. In golf, wait for the people near you to take their swing.

You cannot do that with mini golf, BUT what you can do in mini golf is wear Beer Goggles. And THAT is a good time.

no respectable good guild master would ever even make a guild like that rofl. that type of guild will attract all the wrong people.

I think that was their idea.

He admitted to using a carcass as a prop for a prank, to put it as tactfully as I can think to. It’s not the most heinous thing in the world, but he did this as an adult and how blase he is about it is… concerning.
