I flask every raid

if that isn’t tryharding, then what is tryharding?

I maintain 100% flask uptime while leveling.

There is no melee DPS flask bud.

They could hit the buff cap, and for melee other buffs are stronger than the flask.

Me too baby! Haters gonna hate!

I also like to people in effort in the games I play. I people in effort as much as I can because I know that if I don’t people in the effort how can I expect others to people in the efffort? It starts with you, don’t get upset if you can’t kill a boss because you don’t people in the effort.

Depends on the class. As far as I know, Rogue can fairly easily afford to use all DPS consumes and the flask, for example. On fights where Fury Warriors don’t use Recklessness, same thing.

Tanks are the ones most likely to encounter buff cap issues, and if you were going to drop defensive buffs/consumes for more offensive ones, you’d probably start with the weaker ones. If you’re going to drop the flask because you don’t need the HP, why not also/instead drop Fortitude, which gives less?

I raid every flask. Just 40 people camping out on every Black Lotus node. Then we drop them on the ground and laugh!

The difference between retail and classic with consums is retail consums are NEEDED in the hardest difficulties cause dps is pushed way harder than classic. And consumes are honestly extremely cheap compared to classic. ESPECIALLY flasks, however the classic flasks are way more powerful than retail flasks

Being a alchemist though, on a personal level I think its strange to flask for this difficulty of raid content but hey, 250g is 250g thanks for being t̶r̶y̶h̶a̶r̶d̶s̶ loyal customers. :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t have any problems with you flasking, just wanted to be that pedantic jerk who points that the “try” and “effort” are synonyms.

That is some serious neckbeard sweat.

They will use that minute to add to the hours they spend farming the gold for more flasks, which will shave yet more minutes off, one by one.

Shh don’t scare off my flask customers

You’re absolutely right. All these idiots using flasks every raid right now makes no sense. They’re going to regret it when aq40/naxx comes out and flasks quadruple in value. Smart guilds are saving their consumables for aq/naxx progression. Idiots are burning through them now.

i dont use flasks every raid… but i use as many consumes as I can. the rest of my guild. not so much. Sadly im probably going to have to part ways with them and move to a guild who does use consumes. My current guild hasn’t even beat the 2nd boss in BWL yet

This. Everyone can min/max as much as they want. It only sometimes becomes a problem when people try to force or guilt others into doing the same for really easy farm content. Not everyone cares about setting new parse records in Molten Core. Some people just want to show up, chill, and help clear the old content without having to spend hours farming ahead of time.

That said, if a guild does want to require it for old content because it cares about its parses, that’s fine. People who don’t want to do that should find another guild.
