I don't understand how multiboxing is different that botting

what disadvantages?

I’m impressed by your ability to not realize what you’re actually saying. It’s fun watching you walk into walls.

go level up noob

Like the one Demoneye so kindly pointed out to us. A multiboxer has to run content many more times to get their toons in gear than a single box player does.

You are fun, it’s nice when you know someone has nothing of value to offer and can just play. Literally said the opposite of that and somehow you took it as a win.

it would be the same amount of times unless it was a 4 warrior party or something, and even then you would still get relatively well geared in the same amount of time a single player gearing a single character while being in a party of 5 players would get geared

Condescension is a cute compensation technique.

I’m sorry you’re upset that you ended up making an argument against yourself. You and Joyson should be friends.

level up and 1v1 me before talking disrespectfully

Shut up noob.

youre the noob

I didn’t say you, specifically, thought it was a problem. I’m stating those that want to classify Multi-boxxing as botting (again, it’s not) are the ones with the problem.
And, should knock it off and discuss the real problem, that they simply don’t like the program that replicates actions. But, instead, they’re just wasting time arguing over semantics, and the conversation never gets had.

Good one bro, you got me.

i know i did, now go level up or construct an argument

Has anyone yet actually seen a bot being banned? I certainly have not. In which case blizz does not care wether its botting or multiboxing. Both are atrocious and neither seems to get you banned anyway.

Haha nah, more like pity.

So let’s try this again,

I have an item that drops. It has a 5 percent chance of dropping so 1/20 runs. If I have 3 dps who want that item it means I have a 1/3 chance of gettin it when it drops.

With a multi boxer it goes from a 1/3 chance of getting it when it drops to a 1/1 chance of getting it when it drops,

Further, since the runs are not with the same people the chance of getting it when it drops resets versus going from 1/3 to 1/2 to 1/1.

Let me know f I am going to fast for you.

blizzard doesnt because they dont have a long term vision for classic world of warcraft

Except if the multiboxer needs the item for 3 toons, for example when they run 3 mages (very common in 5 man setups) and a nice blue staff drops.

Try again, this is fun.

Nope. Same bots constantly doing the same path over and over again, all day long. Multiboxing is different, though I’ve seen bots that multibox as well.

they also get to give it to any one of their characters making gear choice and how they gear each character much easier than compared to one character going through different groups each time hoping for an item to drop from the dungeon they are in at that specific instance.

basically, even though its 5 characters, its still one player determining which character gets what, negating any potential item drama or getting loot ninja’ed or any other BS that comes from being in a party, even though they get the benefit of being in party because they paid for it

so You are saying that because it takes longer to gear three people than 1 person that multi boxing is a disadvantage?

Not keeping the outcomes the same there chief, need to compared getting one person geared to one person geared or 3 people geared to 3 people geared if you are trying to make an argument based on comparisons.
