That’s actually the most thrilling way to gather; when you see a node on your minimap and you need to visually locate where you need to go, you can use that as an opportunity to regenerate vigor by flying along a circular path while steadily moving down to wherever the node is (if it’s below you).
If people think it’s hard then that’s great news for me because that means the ore will probably be worth more. Maybe it will be trickier for bots to fly like this
DR is fun but its not substantially better than regular flying with a couple of caveats.
The dragon Isles are huge so traveling at 310% is going to be very very slow feeling. Also DR was at least at launch so hopefully we never go back to pathfinder or that is going to make that a super drag.
Me too. It will suck in a way, as I’ve been playing for nearly 13 years and loved WoW for most of that time. But in another way I’m excited, as I’ll be able to discover awesome new games from companies that will actually want me as a customer and not dictate how I should play. I hope you do too if it comes to that 
Just imagine dragonriding on something like the magic carpet mount. It would be so goofy. Lol
The only way to eliminate bots would be to not ever release regular flying and prevent ground mounts and running too.
WoW lost a lot of players to games that provided insta queues for pvp without leveling, MOBAS and such.
WoD finished off lot of people including family members of mine with Ion’s flying fiasco.

Because its not tied to Vehicle Combat. If you would have to use your drake for fighting i will bet that people would go ballistic. In the very least when M+ becomes a thing.

I was there…the forums were a rioting warzone for a week. Surprised they didn’t revert their decision after 1 day, but they waited too long and paid dearly.
I think it’s just because some people feel a need to belittle others for having an alternative opinion. Give it a few months or less and people will be on to a new bullying focus. I can live fine with dragonriding for now, but i would like regular flying as well.
It has the appeal of flying a fighter or interceptor.
But none of the grace of the helicopter we had with old flying.
In my opinion it won’t last on that basis alone, people preferred being a helicopter.
Not an uncontrollable fighter jet.
Very intriguing take. I think you are right. People just want to be about their business. Regular flying and flight points is all that’s needed for that. Uncontrollable fighter jet is not actually desired except as a side game.

I got over 40 customizations just leveling to 70, they throw them at you… Sad you are so picky, they gave you 4 free mounts with customizations which they’ve never done before and you find a way to complain about it rofl.
Honestly, regular flying looks more goofy, going straight up or straight down when you wanna descend or ascend.
Hahahahaha Kalaen… This expansion has more QOL improvements than any I can remember… Have you even tried crafting orders??? Or gotten your first profession specialization? Gotten ANY rep to 5 so you can take part in each rep’s special mechanic (ie grand hunts for centaurs, cobalt assembly for blue dragons etc). There’s a quest at 70 to specifically guide you through the awesome new stuff this expansion offers… I bet you don’t read quests tho cause “learning/reading is for losers” right? Lolol.
Yeah it had nothing to do with quests being taken out of the game and the world getting wrecked.
Yes fellow legitimate WoW player, I too wish for a return to regular flight which is much more efficient for automation, which I do not use.
