I don’t believe it’s good practice to give away these rare TCG items and here’s my perspective

idk if ide say unlikely under ions leadership cause while i dont like most of the decisions he makes im willing to bet he was told to save them for a break in case of emergency moment. like a massive drop in subs

You don’t need to be subbed to claim the item.

Also, there’s no way it brings back thousands of subs, I doubt it even brings back hundreds. The Trading Post doesn’t even get people to resub. They were literally hiring a position in their team to handle nothing but Trading Post items/rewards because engagement was so low.

To carry people at least most of the party has to be legit playing so the law of averages would not play out even if it were extremely common.

Most of trade are bots that aren’t even slightly concerned about the collections tab.

Yeah but next expansion there probably won’t be fated seasons anymore since expansions are gona be rushed from now on.

A tabard that was used to promote WoW to players of the WoW TCG is now being used to promote WoW to subscribers of Prime Gaming. The horror!

You bought WoW with money. Ergo, everything within it cost money.

So? If you feel like invalidating something earned is fine, you have to explain why it’s not fine in another instance. And it can no longer be just because effort.

And ultimately, those who earned AOTC paid for their subscription, so if real-life money invalidates it, it invalidates that, too.

How are they being rushed if they hired enough people for 3 teams to be actively working on retail at a time? TWW not having a Fated season just means instead of replaying everything we just did for the previous 18 months, we’re just going to move on to the next expansion instead.

Because earning things in game instead of just swiping a card means just that, that it was earned in game. Earning something at your job is so you can survive IRL. It has nothing to do with earning anything in game. This should not have to be explained.

Those that paid their subscription did so for access to the servers. They didn’t swipe their card to buy a card pack off of ebay.

I am, because talking about account actions is against the CoC. To be clear, it is not abuse nor harrassment nor anything that OP might accuse me of to report a post that is breaking CoC. In my view, the Spam or Trolling section is also being broken, but I only flagged one of his replies to me for trolling.

Discussing Disciplinary Actions

This category includes:

  • Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a Game Master (GM)
  • Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a character or account on the forums

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:

  • Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity

No, it should. If you’re saying wiping out or devaluing effort is wrong, that applies to people who swiped the card too, unless they’re sponges or nepo babies. And there are some of those. But there are also paid carries.

But it addresses it, if you say that money invalidates effort.

Context matters unless you are arguing in bad faith. You didn’t earn things you bought with your credit card in game. And there is a difference. That goes for paid carries as well.

Right. You may have earned the money, but you didnt earn the item.

Because expansions will be shorter thats what i meant.

Yes expansions will be going faster so no fated like i said.

don’t care honestly. they shouldn’t come back at all, along with everything else that was limited time. it should all stay in the past. if it doesn’t matter to people so much just leave it be
