I hope people at least get a laugh outa them.
Put in a ticket they told me to put in a bug report, that CS would NOT give me my second pet.

Well, it is apparent that no effort is being made to rectify this situation without creating a ticket.
I think it is unfortunate, but I have just added a ticket to the multitude of tickets I am sure they are receiving regarding the missing pet.
Im sure there trying to fix it but its more then likely not as simple as just rewriting a code what could fix one thing could break 5 other things they want to make sure its 100% or reasonbly fixed before they start handing out the pet.
That’s fine, but it would be nice to see a BLUE make a comment in some manner saying that it is being looked into. Even the comment regarding the Bananas pet before you start the ticket just tells you how to claim it. Nothing about the issue’s in receiving it. If the Blues had put out a post about this issue, I probably held off on starting a ticket.
Welcome to a player to player support forum with blue moderation not gaurenteed unless absolutly necessary whats clearly obvious to us is more then obvious to the QA team i can garuentee you 100% there aware and looking at a fix.
You are never guaranteed a blue response.
If you are not receiving the Bananas pet, you need to file a bug report in-game or add your voice to the thread in the Bug Report forum. QA and the Devs don’t take feedback and bug reports from the Customer Support forum and the SFAs here are not liaisons with them.
Here is the tread from the Bug Report forum. If you post there, include the additional information you have about your pre-exisiting Bananas pet possibly blocking your receiving of the Charity one.
I have no tickets in. The support ticket went but its not in my account under support. The Ticket guy said it would go to “bugs” or something like that. Ill just wait it out as Im sure blizz will get it figured out sooner or later lol at least I hope so
For those wondering… I ended up getting the run around with the first 2 gamemasters that contacted me regarding my problem. The third actually took the time to read my original post and check thoroughly. He has agreed that I did NOT receive Bananas free , that I had a level 25 one previous to the free one becoming available and that I have ample space for one, but as Blizzard are aware of the problem, their hands are tied and they cannot send them out to those who haven’t received them. He told me to wait and if it hadn’t shown up by mid July, to resubmit a ticket.
Like many of you here, I also have the TCG version of Bananas that is level 25. I did not get my free Bananas after claiming him. I have no filters on and have logged out and into the game several many times since claiming him and still nothing to this day.
Like others, CS told me to submit a bug report. I would think that 10 days after the pet was available, this may have been fixed. I think that by now CS probably has a copy/paste letter they send out to all of us. Mine told me to log out and log back in again… after I had said in my ticket that I had done it repeatedly. I completely log out every night in hopes Bananas will be there the next day, but I just keep getting disappointed. I guess I shouldn’t complain since I do have one already, but it’s the principal of the thing that matters. This should have not been as buggy as it is.
Bugs are triaged. Knowing there is a bug doesn’t mean the fix is fast. This bug likely wouldn’t be as high a priority as one that is game-breaking.
They do. That way all players get the same information.
It doesn’t matter how much you test code, it can still result in bugs when it goes live.

When I go to claim Bananas, it says I already own it, which is true. Looks like I can’t get this one.
I don’t understand why people are still posting to this particular thread when they should be posting over in the Bug Report. If you’re just replying and not actually reading through this thread? Posting here in Customer Support is just kind of posting in an echo chamber. There are no GMs, Devs or QAs here. Our SFA Blues are here kind of as an info desk. The people who need to see these posts are not seeing them. You need to be posting over in this thread:
You likely will not get a Blue response, but proper staff are then able to see the data along with the tickets people are submitting so that they can hopefully get this figured out for all of you - since they will not as this particular forum is for players to assist other players. There is nothing any of us can do, save for more people chiming in to say they haven’t gotten the pet and what responses they’ve received for their tickets.
While this continues to be investigated, Game Masters should now be able to help in cases where they can verify that your account is affected by a bug.
Keep in mind that if you already had 3 of these pets you would not receive a 4th, due to the limits on how many of a specific pet you can have.
Before opening your ticket:
- Wait 24 hours after claiming it from the shop.
- Make sure you try fully disconnecting from the game and logging out of the Blizzard Desktop App (the launcher). We’ve seen this work for some folks after a couple of tries.
- Check the number of pets you currently have collected. If you are full, at the default (1000) then you will need to increase your cap using a Pocket Pet Portal or Interdimensional Pet Portal. Alternatively, you can drop below the cap by caging/releasing pets.
If you’ve completed the troubleshooting above, then go ahead and file a help ticket. If you previously filed a help ticket, you may need to submit a new one or reply to the previously closed ticket.

sigh - still can’t get the pet. They said I claimed on March 25th but I never received it. Actually checked the dates on the forum posting and on my email and I actually claimed it on March 24 not the 25th… Then they claim it was released two others times to this account but I never got those either. I am not sure if they are confusing other accounts in this or just this account. I have no connected accounts though so I am not sure why they would be.
Finally, got my pet - thanks to the support people who spent more time on this than it was really worth.
