That’s not my experience at all. I’ve seen a ton of very specific examples and have provided many myself. That said, I don’t think any reasonable person thinks these are “impossible” and empirically it just isn’t true because people have done them. It’s just that they are unnecessary difficulty not because there was intent on Blizzard’s part to make them so but because they simply didn’t do their job when it came to balancing the encounters specifically to tune them down to account for the lack of borrowed powers and other timewalking restrictions.
The other major reason for frustration is the fact that timewalking in general has never been billed as cutting edge content and more of a nostalgia driven, low stress activity. These challenges are anything but.
Lastly, and I am speaking for myself here although I am sure many others would feel the same, the mount requiring all 7 challenges is ridiculous when you consider not only the incredible difficulty involved and the limited time but also the fact that they were prepared to give it to everyone for free in the mail. This mount in particular was extremely desired by the community as evidenced by the fact that it came second in the poll and it’s just super unfair to have it gated behind content they themselves have acknowledged is not properly tuned. It just feels like a slap in the face to all those players. Honestly, I couldn’t care less if they balance the Mage Tower or leave it as is, I just want them to give us an alternative way of getting that mount or better yet ALL of the poll mounts.

when will they nerf the challenges?
If someone were bored enough to count, I’d wager there are more complaints without any valuable feedback than there are with; I never said there was none.
I don’t remember how the MT challenge coming back was originally pitched by Blizz, but I feel there has been some sort of disconnect between what was intended vs what players expect/want. I also remember a lot of people saying these challenges may be a lot harder than what the general population expected.
we won’t know anything further for at least another 11hours, it took them 33 hours to respond at all after first implementation, and last post by a blue about this was 22hrs ago

Blizzard keeps increasing mage tower difficulty. They just nerfed crusader enchant to the ground. Also some old trinket was nerfed as well.
We didn’t ask for increased difficulty, we demand massive nerfs to difficulty. What are you doing Blizzard?

sounds about right.
i take back what i said then. not under-cooked/tested. but still… it ain’t fun. it’s still un-fun… heck, i’d go so far as to say it’s player-hostile.
‘you want werebear form? fine! here’s your werebear form, but you gotta go through a damn-near impossible version of the mage tower, without borrowed power, or being able to outgear it. good luck chumps!’

Heard the trick to easy Bear MT is to go boomkin and HotW both phases as much as possible. Cyclotronic on pull for an easy 4k.
the few people out of the large majority of people that have completed it are 99 parses, and streamers…they are literally cucking the entire community with the most recent hotfix…if you ever needed a more obvious reason to realize they only cater to the hardcore then there it is

most of the people you watch do that lately are literally world first players and people using vods from the PTR…anyone saying it’s an updated live review is literally trolling u…i watched Nerf spend like 4 hours trying to do the DK one…if THAT guy is having problems with it after watching him litearlly do the guradian one in 2 pulls then there’s a fkin problem period
But it works just fine on live, using Boomkin form as much as possible, to do more damage.
