No, just people that willfully prevent the people who need help from getting it.
There’s the pot calling the kettle black.
bro its at 40 days now
Tell me, what am I actually doing that prevents you from getting help? Am I obstructing your access in any way? Am I intentionally clogging the bug report or suggestion pipeline to deny you timely access?
I’m doing nothing more than pointing out that your petulant tantrum is adversely effecting others who could be helped if not for your pointless tickets.
Sorry, I didn’t realize my posts were hindering your ability to do literally anything.
No, he is not preventing access. However, commenting on disciplinary actions, or desired disciplinary action is not ok either.
You have been given all the advice that can be given at this point.
- GMs do NOT change the game nor do they pass on suggestions.
- Suggestions are done via the in-game suggestion menu or via the Discussion forums.
- Mailing the Accessibility team gets another set of eyes on accessibility related issues like button size in the new UI.
When you have done that, you are done. There is no more you can currently do. If you keep making more threads, submitting extra tickets, etc that only puts you at risk for spamming them.
Your thread about classic UI is a very constructive way to address it for now and is a great place to continue.
If what you want is the map, tracking, and bag buttons bigger, you can go into Options and select the Scale UI option. That lets you set the WHOLE UI to bigger so the base buttons are much larger. From there you would set up your other scaled buttons using the new interface to layer those over the upscalled UI base. Clunky, but works for now until either Blizz changes it or Addons address it.
So clogging the ticket system that folks need help for a petty and selfish issue that you deem as just cause is better?
Being able to see the UI buttons is not petty or selfish to be honest. I can’t see them either and had to learn to use the UI scale options. They were not self explanatory and were not in the new Edit page. It took me weeks on Beta to find the tracking button and calendar button and I can barely see the bag, char, collection, etc buttons. Those are basics I kind of need to play my game.
Having basic game functions be accessible is kind of important, not petty. They are just going about it wrong if they are spamming or derailing other threads.
I would note that additional UI changes are coming down in the Phase 2 - pre-patch and the xpac release.
I’m not playing the PTR, but I could suggest monitoring it to see if any ui issues are fixed within those two iterations.
I appreciate the input. Unfortunately scaling the entire UI breaks more than it fixes as it scales EVERYTHING else and some of those items scaled are unscalable as well (minimap and buttons scale together but minimap at 64% UI scale is STILL too big while buttons WAY too small)
Canceled my ticket it was up to 21 days anyway.
Sorry to everyone else getting bent out of shape for trying to bring acknowledgement to any necessary fixes to the game we ALL play
I get you want a Blue reply that says they are fixing it. That won’t happen via ticket though nor on the CS forums.
The ONLY people who fix the game coding and UI are the Developers. They are the ones who would acknowledge it and change it. You can’t really force that to happen and spamming the CS team with tickets not only floods the wrong team, it takes up spots for folks the CS team can actually help. The CS team fixes purchase issues, helps gain access to lost accounts, etc. They don’t design the game or change it and don’t pass on any feedback for you.
Your thread on GD is a great way to make it clear what you have issues with and of course you can email the Accessibility team for their awareness. Those are great options you likely already used so you have done what you can for now.
