We had a tenant, that was on Disability for Bipolar, and had serious problems with people.
In the short time we had to deal with her, she amassed 14 restraining orders with other tenants.
The constable who is a friend, mostly from us needing his services time to time, informed me, the even more shocking fact that she paid nothing for any of them, as she was on Disability the court didn’t charge her anything.
I don’t know if these accusations are true or not. What I do know is you can file whatever you want, and as a Landlord, it happens to us frequently. The people thinking otherwise are quite Naive.
There is also the reality, that people will make fake accusations, for many reasons. And in the “Woke” Culuture we have created, people will jump to defend them, even if they don’t know if they are true or not. Just as the people in this thread are doing now, some Employees will surely do the same.
That all I said, I 100% without a shadow of a doubt believe that some of this stuff has transpired, I am postive there has been events like this. Because there is everywhere every day, however if it’s to the scale the lawsuit implies, is another matter.

Dude. You were angry about covid slowing down the game. You think it factored in to this investigation? Everything took longer during the pandemic. Two years means nothing.
The discovery is what matters, not the length of time, especially during a pandemic. This 2 YEARS line really means nothing.
Which is what I have been pointing out that this hasn’t even started yet outside of “he said, she said.” Nothing has been presented and people need to chill until the facts actual come out in the court room.

This year alone California has exonerated more then any other state. The registry goes back to 1989 and over all California is ranked 4th…
You can twist your facts to show what you want but either way being ranked 4th out of 50 is a telling sign…

Edit: oh I see you’re looking at total numbers, which puts them at 4th. Per capita (which is what one should be looking at with statistics like this) it’s far lower. California having more total than Rhode Island or Alaska isn’t a mark against California considering how populated it is.
