Ahh right. Nice drive by insult with no evidence, just like this case.
You’re a great person, aren’t ya?
It 100% is. The guy is believing one of the corporate top people that’s been there for 4 months over a 2 year investigation with so many slimy things attached to it.
And they’re being rational
Apparently you are not familiar with Fran Townsend nor have you read her rebuttal to the charges. Please try to be informed and then use that information as the proper context or framing of my statement.
edit: nvm, I just looked at your grand total of 6 posts and judging from them, in the context of the topics they are responding to, don’t bother.
All those emotional facts and rational discussion, man. Obviously the ranting of an emotional ladyperson
Oh sweetie. Does this usually work out for you? Deflecting to personal insults and accusations of bias when you’re losing an argument, or don’t have one to begin with? I mean, for someone who’s weirdly fixated on making no assumptions, it seems like you’re just full to the brim with them, doesn’t it?
I’m sure this kind of thing makes you the big man in your group of friends as you - out of earshot of any women of course - talk about the feeeeee-males and how silly they are, but just because you’re willing to dismiss what an entire gender says out of hand doesn’t mean that everyone’s like that, Captain Projection.
I know tons of awesome men. Literal piles. My son? Amazing. My male friends in the game? Fantastic. My male co-workers? For the most part, really intelligent, thoughtful guys. That Drygo person seems like a cool dude, not that I even know if they’re a dude. Even inside Blizzard, there are men like Steve Danauser and Celestalon and Jeremy Feasel who are standing up for the right things.
You can’t hold a candle to any of them.
I’m not losing an argument lol.
There is no argument to be had, you are a waste of typing.
Hints why my posts to you are 50 characters, and yours are essays.
If you say so, honey
Mmmkay!
Because back in my day they taught touch-typing in school. It takes me a few seconds to bang out multiple paragraphs, and I am nothing if not possessed of many opinions. But I’m truly sorry that I’m not cutting my thoughts down to bite-sized easily digestible chunks for you. As I am not your mommy, despite your weird misplaced lashing out at me like I was, I am not compelled to cut up your meat for you so that you don’t choke on it.
Toodles~
No, it isn’t. And besides that, I really don’t care what someone who uses the term “man apologist” has to say about anything so basically you’re on my mental ignore list now.
Yeah my bad… I meant as
Man! Apologists!
Still… Comical though. 4 month long corporate take is more believable than a 2 year investigation and multiple other cases of male dominated industries being disgusting.
Feel free to live in your bubble I guess. It is definitely easier to assume people are lying than the reality of history repeating itself
That’s not true. Although it is probably true in this case that without sufficient evidence, or at least what they believe to be sufficient evidence, the plantiff wouldn’t be filing a case in the first place.
You’re the same guy that yells at BLM people that theyre stupid and all lives matter.
You’re just digging deep to make a bad guy lol.
Nothing to see here folks it’s all just a made-up story LMAO…
"Here is Morhaime’s statement in full:
I have read the full complaint against Activision Blizzard and many of the other stories. It is all very disturbing and difficult to read. I am ashamed. It feels like everything I thought I stood for has been washed away. What’s worse but even more important, real people have been harmed, and some women had terrible experiences.
I was at Blizzard for 28 years. During that time, I tried very hard to create an environment that was safe and welcoming for people of all genders and backgrounds. I knew that it was not perfect, but clearly we were far from that goal. The fact that so many women were mistreated and were not supported means we let them down. In addition, we did not succeed in making it feel safe for people to tell their truth. It is no consolation that other companies have faced similar challenges. I wanted us to be different, better.
Harassment and discrimination exist. They are prevalent in our industry. It is the responsibility of leadership to keep all employees feeling safe, supported, and treated equitably, regardless of gender and background. It is the responsibility of leadership to stamp out toxicity and harassment in any form, across all levels of the company. To the Blizzard women who experienced any of these things, I am extremely sorry that I failed you.
I realize that these are just words, but I wanted to acknowledge the women who had awful experiences. I hear you, I believe you, and I am so sorry to have let you down. I want to hear your stories, if you are willing to share them. As a leader in our industry, I can and will use my influence to help drive positive change and to combat misogyny, discrimination, and harassment wherever I can. I believe we can do better, and I believe the gaming industry can be a place where women and minorities are welcomed, included, supported, recognized, rewarded, and ultimately unimpeded from the opportunity to make the types of contributions that all of us join this industry to make. I want the mark I leave on this industry to be something that we can all be proud of."
She’s been with the company for four months. Of course she saw nothing and believes everything is better.
This is the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard, and I’m sad to say I hear it a lot. This is like going to a benefit for cancer research, proclaiming that heart disease and hypertension are just as bad, and complaining that they’re not being funded then and there at that event. You’re not wrong when you say that sexism is a widespread problem, but you still sound like a complete idiot who is attempting to derail an important conversation that should be taking place in context of current events. There’s a time and place for everything, and this isn’t really the time or place to be discussing discrimination against men.
For her total 4 months of working for Blizzard she was never sexually harassed. So I guess that means it doesn’t happen.
California is bad. How do you get video evidence of someone in office harassing other people in Cali? Oh wait you cant because of a dumb 2 party consent law so the person doing the harassing would have to give consent to be video taped doing the harassment. Yeah, thats a thing. So dont act like California is this bastion of righteousness and believability. Its a cesspool, literally.
I heard a popular wow streamer read her statement and it sounded like a PR response from the late 90’s.
So he does admit it is ,why didn’t he do something at the time he was there?
I am really not sure what’s currently going on but it is immensely wise to lack at the situation from most perspectives.
Instead of finding goats to put on the scape, California should look to the roots of the growing homeless crisis that’s occurring there. Things occurring in California is not of my concern since I do not reside there.
I quite aware the Housing cost inflation is ridiculous, you could buy a luxurious five star modern condo in the beautiful city of Accra for the same price of an Average single family house in Los Angeles.
Very good question.
